They have recently relocated their store to Benson in Oxfordshire where they sell a fabulous range of fine homeware and gifts, including soft toys from key brands such as Jellycat where they stock a growing range of loveable childrens toys. Website simple to use but postage was pretty slow and expensive. Doubt I'll use again.

Lovely product... But having spent it's time traveling through the English postal system only in a plastic bag... It wasn't in the greatest condition when it arrived.

A little disappointed that the sizes not shown of the cushions I ordered as they arrived and are minuscule. However, they ARE good quality and can use them. Delivery was good but not exceptional, took longer than expected

You placed your order on the 2/11 (Saturday evening) by economy shipping, your order was dispatched on Monday the 4th and delivered on the 6th November, which is 2 working days! I was actually sent the wrong packet of wax melts, which wasn't ideal. Also the choice was limited on site, which was frustrating. The order arrived in a timely fashion and the site was easy to navigate.

I wasn't that impressed with the bunny. I thought it looked second hand. But it is for my grandson,s birthday. So i really hope he likes it. From Janet .

Hi Janet I am sorry if you are not entirely happy with your purchase, but I can catagorically assure you it is not used or second hand in any way. We are one of Jellycat's permier stockist and all products sent out are brand new. I am surprised to read your comments via a review as we have no record of any complaint via email or otherwise. Ordering was no problem and the item was delivered quickly. However, the return process was not so good. Having never ordered from you before, I sent the item back plus email to say it was on the way (as per your policy), but was disconcerted not to get a confirmation of this. Having heard nothing at all for a couple of days I emailed again to find out what was happening. I then got a response plus refund. I would suggest better communication when someone requests a refund. It’s a gamble ordering from an unknown company online & good communication is essential throughout the whole process, the earlier the better.

The jellycat octopus arrived in reasonable time. My main issue was the packaging. This was an expensive soft toy at 45 pounds. It was squashed into the smallest plastic bag it could possibly have fit into. I mean literally rammed. This toy had external bits that needed to be carefully packaged or could result in damage .I buy directly from jellycat usually. They generously package items and use a dustbag. I will stick to jellycat.com for future purchases.

Thank you for your review. The toy was shipped to you in the bag that it arrives to us from Jellycat as this item is individually packaged, and then packed into an outer postal bag. I am sorry you were not pleased with our service on this occassion and we will take your comments on board. Hello Lin We sent you the tracking link on Tuesday, if you follow this you will see the courier tried to deliver today 2nd August. But no one was available to accept the parcel. Delivery can take 5-7 days from dispatch when going abroad. Item was much smaller than expected. Despite size clearly marked I had no idea the product came in different sizes (having bought 2much larger versions before )so didn’t check. I know that was my fault but perhaps a description of “small “ would have alerted me.

I Bought a jellycat bunny from you, and when it arrived it was just loosely tied up in a carrier bag, so I have had to buy some tissue paper to wrap in it as it doesn’t like very nice as it is a gift for a baby shower, so I would say your packaging could be better. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to review. Gift wrapping is available as an optional extra, neither was there a note on your order asking for wrapping. All our Jellycat toys are sent out in an internal cellophane bag (never a carrier bag) and outer polybag or box. Not all customers are buying these toys as gifts, so without any note, it would be packaged in the standard way. Kind regards Maison White

Thank you for your review. The item you ordered was on 'back-order' when you placed your order, which was clearly displayed on our website and your confirmation order. We send out over 150 parcels a day and have recently improved our packaging by ensuring the items are double bagged. Was yours not? How would you suggest we can improve our packaging further? Given that packaging is a waste and harmful to the environment if not carefully disposed of Many thanks Maison White

I ordered two Jellycat toys. They just came in the postage bag. I mean, they could have been wrapped in some paper first? A small thing like this could make a huge difference...

We have been sending out Jellycat toys for some years like this with no complaints, we are trying our best to reduce excessive packaging and waste but after a small number of similar comments we have just recently started putting the toys in a cellophane bag inside the postage bag. Yours may have coincided with this recent change. Hopefully our customers will dispose of the packaging in a mindful manner. Kind regards Maison White
Bought a peekaboo elephant by Gund. Disappointed with packaging as sent in a plain brown re used box taped at each end. After research it appears Gund products come in plastic presentation packaging. Although it had all the manufactures tags attached, it didn’t seem like a new product, one of the screws where batteries go was tarnished. The product is a gift and was cheaper than elsewhere which was a good point, couldn’t fault the speed of delivery which was excellent, the presentation let it down.

Hi Dennis, we have sold a significant volume of these products and this is the very first and only complaint. I can assure you this is a genuine Gund product which comes to us in the box supplied, from the official Gund supplier, it was not a reused box, you will find it has the manufacturers SKU barcode on the box. I have never seen these products come in plastic presentation packaging, I think they would be copies. If you are not happy with the product you can return it for a refund. No quibble
The soft toy I ordered arrived in a dented cardboard box. I would have hoped for it to be presented slightly better, as it was not even wrapped and could have easily been damaged.

I am sorry for the condition of the box you received, unfortunately sometimes the packaging gets damaged in transit but it is rare, it is not a fragile item, however we take your comments on board and will double pack these items in the future. Poorly packaged. Seemed okay inside but bag was all torn. Made me question the authenticity of the product.
