Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. We are working to introduce some new products this year. However, if you like it spicier, then you can use a little more paste. Because we do not add too much salt as a preservative, adding more paste will increase the intensity of the spice and heat, but cut back on any additional seasoning or fish sauce. Looks like you have tried all but the Jungle curry paste yet. So I'll send you a complimentary pack to try. Jum

“Fantastic product, easy to order. Had the red curry tonight with Salmon and it was lovely! Would like the company to make its own shrimp paste, as I would buy this as an addition as it’s hard to get elsewhere.”

We do plan to bring out some new products later this year, but for now, we are focused on making sure that what we do, we do the best we can. Good quality Shrimp paste is difficult to get in the UK, which is why I bring a few kilos back home with me when I return from Thailand. I will keep you in mind when we expand our range. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Since our products use freshly harvested ingredients, the taste profile can change slightly from batch to batch. That also includes the spiciness. We didn't try to reduce the spiciness (unless you were one of our very first customers, where it really was too spicy). but the spiciness will vary from batch to batch due to natural variances. However, we are grateful for the thumbs up, thank you. Jum

Hello, I am very sorry to hear that your parcel arrived in such poor condition. This is not what I would have expected, and clearly abusive handling by Royal Mail. Our boxes are usually quite good. It's difficult to see a negative review, but it is important we get them, so I thank you for taking the time to share it with me. If you would allow me, I would like to send you a replacement bundle, I will include the hotter varieties. Please let me know how we did with our second attempt. “Transported back to Hua Hin from my very own dining room. Massaman was absolutely delicious, made as per the recipe on the paste packet. Wonderful aroma, went down a storm in our house!”

“Easy to navigate and order and order came very promptly. A little "over-packaged" I think, so it can be simpler, lighter and use less material. 70g packets are nice, but it would be good to be able to also buy larger quantities. That said - at the price, a 500g or 1kg pack would probably be eye-wateringly expensive! And - smaller packs keep their freshness better, but still..”

Hello Karl, Thank you for your order, and for your feedback, it was warmly received. We are the first to admit that we are still learning the ropes after only 18 months. Our focus has been on the product, the ingredients and the quality; it has been a real eye-opener when we visited some of the large factories that turn out the big quantities. They would not entertain our approach, yet it still took 3 attempts to finally find a partner that was as committed as we were. This has affected the price, which is based on what we put into the product. We do hope that with time, greater sales and customer support, we can find ways to bring the same quality and freshness while bringing further value. We have started to supply in 400g/1kg packs to catering, but this is limited at the moment; the price isn't so eye-watering, but the minimum order quantity probably is (for now). The packaging could be simplified, but equally, many have commented that the packing boxes make good gifts. Nonetheless, we could make it smaller. We had to buy a lot of boxes to keep the price down, so it will take a while to run out, but we will be taking a look at this, as well as other things as we find our way. It is really important we get constructive feedback in the way you have today, so thank you again. Jum
