“As a 1st time customer we're all cautious ordering from a company for the first time. However I found the ordering, communication and service reassuring. “Very prompt delivery. Good quality hardwood kindling. Not cheap but we used our ooni pizza oven to make >30 pizzas in a sitting and there was less soot in the chimney than I’ve found after doing 8 using other kindling. Kept the oven good and hot throughout and made amazing pizza. Will use again!”

“Love their environmental ethics for replanting. Great logs. Bit of an issue with the courier but got them in time for when I needed them, and they were proactive with communication. Would not stop me ordering again.”

“I buy from love logs because its ethically sourced wood from UK trees which are replenished. My deliveries come promptly and my emails are answered straight away. Each delivery comes with a little thank you note from Heather and paul which is a nice little touch.”

“I needed small logs quickly for my rather elderly Little Wenlock stove. The aim is to replace it soon with a compliant stove like a Hamlet. That means small logs are essential. I was pleased to receive these hobbit logs from Love Logs. They were neatly packed, not at all dusty, and they burn well. The broken logs made from compressed sawdust are also very good, not as dirty as I expected, and they burn with a lot of enthusiasm. The firelighters are a little heavy, so they sink to bottom of the kindling if you don't make the fire up with care. I soon got used to this and now the fire starts easily. The ordering was easy and the delivery efficient. My only slight quibble is that maybe 30kg is a little heavy for the delivery guy. Airport baggage handlers have cut down from 32 kg to 23 kg. I think he was a bit shocked by the weight, considering that most of what he delivers is just light clothing.”

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely and detailed review, we really appreciate it. We're glad you were happy with the products and the ordering process 😍 Regarding the DPD driver, DPD charge us 'per parcel' so in order to maximise the amount we get for the shipping rate and therefore keep costs as low as possible, we do try and pack the boxes to as close to 30kg as possible. The drivers are all trained in how to safely lift and carry the 30kg, and they will be handling lots of heavier parcels at the depot each week. Thanks Heather and Paul 💚
