“Great kiln dried cherry arrived next day no fuss and all were at around 8% moisture when I checked (perfect for cooking on).”

“The logs arrived promptly and were very well packaged. I received a mixed box including Apple, Cherry and Oak. The kettle BBQ was set up as a smoker and I briefly soaked the chunks of wood in water. We smoked spare ribs and lamb shoulder. The results were fantastic, with succulent, tender meat with subtle smoky flavour that was balanced with spicy dry rub and a sweet, smoky and spicy chipotle sauce. Thank you very much love logs, will definitely order again. Alex”

Thanks very much Alex! I personally advise against soaking your chunks, we go to a lot of effort to remove as much water as possible and they create cleaner smoke if you leave them dry. Everyone has their preferred methods, but from a smoke quality point of view, my advice is to keep them dry. Happy cooking 🔥 Paul

“Great quality wood and superior burn compared with other logs and kindling. Yes, it's expensive but you get what you pay for. Ideal for my pizza oven and I will definitely order again.”

“Product delivered on time, we were informed of the delivery and time it would arrive, brilliant.. Used the wood chunks in the offset this wknd to cook smoked turkey breasts and cowboy beans. it worked well and we will be ordering further apple logs soon. Thanks”

“The delivery was on time and the logs delivered in a firm box. The logs are just the right size for my small log burner but I haven’t yet burnt any as it is too warm!”
