“Use love logs for firelighters and charcoal Looking forward to using the ash and cherry charcoal to test its longevity as I cook low and slow. Easy website and delivery prompt. Very well run company.”

Thanks for the review Richard! Ash and cherry are both lighter woods before we charcoal them, so you'll notice compared to something like oak you get a fuller bag for 6kg weight. The lightness makes them respond well to airflow changes but does mean they burn a little quicker... but of course you're getting more by volume in the bag, so they all sort of come out much of a muchness in overall value. “The only place i've ordered logs advertised as being 6-8 inches that are actually 6-8inches so will definitely return for more! My woodburner is small and I have bags of logs I can't use because they are 1-2 inches longer than advertised and I can't trim them off. It's been a real challenge finding anywhere that cut logs small enough and deliver in Staffordshire so thanks Love Logs.”
