“L&C were great in helping me re-mortgage. Took time to understand what I was looking for, helped me understand everything and more importantly the actual application and completion was seamless. 2nd time I've used them, and would use or recommend L&C to anyone looking to explore mortgages.”

“They treat you as if you are a machine. Can't handle a case with a difference to the norm and when your application is refused, they do not say why and refuse to help you further. Disgusting experience. Went to a different broker and despite the refused mortgage, everything went through fine. Their buyers insurance is a con as they wouldn't refund anything. Do not use them”

“The Mortgage advisor made it relatively straightforward to find a mortgage which suited me, and was easy to contact by both telephone and email. There was also an online tracking system which made it easy-ish to keep track of documents required and the progress of my application”

“The whole process took much longer than it should with repeated requests for the same documents which had already been sent. There seemed to be very little communication between L&C and the mortgage company and solicitor. The solicitor was acting on behalf of the mortgage company yet they chased me to send them documents that the mortgage company had sent me. In all my remortgage took as long if not longer than it would have taken to buy and complete on a new house.”

“Took away all the hassle of searching for the right mortgage lender. “Whilst trying to move house I experienced a number of set backs, from my own house falling through twice to the properties I wanted to purchase falling through also. As stressful as this was Oliver Thomas from London & Country was fantastic. He took the time to listen to the different issues I was facing and did his best to help resolve them. He was able to offer me a range of mortgages, to find the best one that suited me and also helped with arranging other products such as life insurance etc. Oliver gave me plenty of time to compare them with other deals I had found and generally assisted me all the way to completion. I can't thank him enough for his patience and helpfulness, and I am pleased to say we got there in the end. I would fully recommend L&C to all of my friends and family for a professional, efficient and proactive service.”
