“Your service is very good for Generic Mortgage products you like to sell to the general publc, however as an experienced Landlord with a large property portfolio, and looking for more bespoke solutions for arranging finance then your service falls a bit short and is limited. I got the impression on the numerous occasions, when I asked for more complex solutions that it was greatly difficult to arrange, and when I asked for further information quite often it took weeks to reply or I never got a reply, only after doing a lot of chasing on my part! Doesn't mean though I wouldn't use your service in the future as it does what it says on the tin, although more complex matters I will definitely take my business elsewhere in future.”

“When you call them up you get through to somebody very quickly. Astrit (mortgage adviser) was very helpful and he took the time to call me back and leave a message with any update on the mortgage application. I very much recommend their service.”

“The response and actioning of a mortgage by London and Country is very swift and greatly appreciated. My only dislike is the presumption that we'd take up the conveyancers L&C suggests, to the point they're contacting me even after I've told L&C who I'm using and they're to de-instruct for me. And 3 weeks on from getting my mortgage approved and we're having to tell the mortgage provider directly the correct conveyancers' details. Along with the L&C suggested conveyancers contacting me directly 3 weeks on from receiving my mortgage offer. Not appreciated.”

“initial contact with Anna was great -she was very helpful, i even recommended someone to her. Once the broker, Ross had been assigned he didn't really make much contact, took a day or 2 to get back emails. The solicitors were amazing Premier Property Lawers 10/10 for them. Yes i would use again.”

“L&C were helful in finding me a mortgage lender. After finding me a suitable mortgage lender they were very efficient in up to the stage of getting the mortgage offer accepted, although I had to chase them some times. Even though it took a while to get everything sorted with my mortgage lenders through L&C, I would recommened them to my family and friends.”

“Really helpful in getting my mortgage offer set up and very informative agent to take me thru the system. My only criticism is that the after sales for buildings insurance etc gets annoying when not needed.”

“Would have been 5 stars had it been not for one glitch. No broker fees, insurance to cover expenses should buy fall through, got the best mortgage product compared to offers from Burchell Edwards, Countrywide, St.James Place : Fantastic. 5 Stars Glitch: very few offices around the country and are not local. Need to send passport/ID to LC office for verification. I was not made aware of this early in the process and it was extremely inconvenient to send my passport when mortgage application started due to my frequent international travels. If client is made aware of this and application is planned at convenient time for ID verification --- zero hassles, maximum value and best mortgage broker service out there. Would always recommend.”

“Overall I am happy with L&C. They made the process of getting a mortgage as convenient and hassle free as possible. I would like in particular to thank Andy Simpson who was always available to answer my questions and was extremely professional, friendly and helpful at all times. I really hope that L&C are able to recognise the excellent service that Andy provides. I should also mention that I only came to L&C based on the recommendation of a friend who specifically suggested I dealt with Andy, given his experience. I wish I had been able to deal with Andy through the entire process because unfortunately I found my case manager could not provide the same level of service. He rarely if ever answered his phone and took much longer to answer emails. In the end I found dealing with Andy to be much quicker and more efficient.”
