“London and Country provided me with an excellent service as a first time buyer looking for a mortgage, the broker I was assigned (Ahmet Basman) was brilliant, he was very professional, excellent at communicating and responing to calls or emails (if he says he'll ring you at 6pm, he means it!). I felt as though nothing I asked was ever too much trouble and when he'd found me the best mortgage options he let me decide what I wanted in my own time, no push for one product or another and no hard-sell. Really great team, cannot recommend them highly enough, I know where I'm going next time! 10/10”

“London & Country helped me with my first mortgage 2 year ago and now with remortgaging as well. Really very happy with their service. They found a very good deal on the market (much better than my bank) and gave me a lot of recommendation. Always happy to help and very quick answer to all my emails. Definitely recommended.”

“Brilliant experience from start to finish. The guys explained everything we needed to know as first-time buyers both clearly and quickly. They were always on hand to answer questions and take calls at our convenience, and offered us some good advice that helped us get the best value mortgage for us. It also helped having their established network of solicitors (we didn't know any local ones, so having a reputable recommendation put us at ease).”

“My experience with L&C so far has been nothing short of a nightmare and we are probably going to lose the house we want due to their appalling customer service. Everything has been so slow. It has taken MONTHS to just get to the point where we are submitting the application. They ask a question then after answering we hear nothing for days and days only for a different question to then be asked. The team members are constantly going on holiday so you get passed from pillar to post or even worse, your case is just left hanging with no-one looking at it. The first person we dealt with Shannon had no clue what she was doing. Absolutely none. Her team manager was as clueless. Bearing in mind we had submitted a very strong complaint about our treatment an email was sent asking a question which was not answered correctly (we gave them an account number which was too long as we added the 01 on the card onto the end, it took them SIX DAYS to contact us to say this isn't correct. SIX DAYS!!!! I cannot stress strongly enough to avoid them or lose the house of your dreams and make yourself ill with the stress of dealing with them.”

I've always found everyone to be thoroughly helpful, explaining the various steps I'll have to go through and ensuring I know what to expect at the end of the process. Highly recommended.”

“We just wanted to thank you both very much for your hard work and excellent service in getting Nicola and me to this point, we have been really impressed with your level of communication, with the urgency in clarifying any queries that have arisen, and overall your customer service during our application. It's definitely true what they say about buying and selling a house being one of (if not the most) stressful times during a person's life, but you've gone a long way to helping us remain relaxed (most of the time!!). We will definitely recommend you to our family and friends, and I'm 100% sure that if we were to ever move again, we would come straight to London & Country!!”
