“I received excellent service from L&C. The two brokers I dealt with, Natalie Battista and Darren Sharpe were extremely helpful and expedited the mortgage process in a very timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend their top service and would use them again. It would be handy though to be able to view my mortgage accounts online though that is a technical matter. “Firstly, the overall service was good. The case officer was generally helpful, responses to queries were dealt with within a satisfactory time period and communications via email were clear and relatively speedy. In way of recommendation: 1. Whilst the mortgage that was found for me was very competitive, I would appreciate if 3 best mortgage products found are forwarded for review and comparison by the customer. 2. In addition, I found associated products being recommended are not very competitive and therefore don’t offer best value to customers, namely building insurance and life insurance. A little bit of research online and similar products can be found for a much better value. 3. Overall, I would recommend the service to others but would ask that people do their own research for comparison and to make sure best values are being achieved.”

“Very efficient service, from informing me well in advance of the reduced rate period coming to an end, to recommending a new fixed rate mortgage and preparing all the paperwork etc. I will be using L&C again in two years time.”

“Everyone we spoke to was extremely helpful and our main contact, Skye Hanlon, was able to answer all our questions and find an excellent mortgage deal for us. She also dealt really well with some of the difficult elements of our mortgage application.”

“great advice and answer to all my questions, L&C were quick to respond and keep things moving. I turned to them when I was disappointed with the broker I had initially chosen and they did not disappoint. My broker at L&C, Nicholas, provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. The only issue was with a number of copies of documents being sent over email, which is probably not the most secure. L&C should make it easier to send via their secure portal. The portal itself wasn't up to date with the progress of our case either. All in all though, very happy with the service.”

“I had a difficult circumstance when trying to apply for a mortgage in that part of my income isn't guaranteed and that I already lived in the house and wanted to keep the other tenants on as lodgers when I bought the place from the landlord. My adviser and case manager were extremely supportive throughout the whole process and when we discovered my original plan was not possible they helped me explore other options so that I was still able to buy the house and get a good mortgage rate.”

“We have used L&C for years now and we have always been very satisfied with its services - always helpful and efficient, our expert Kye has a good knowledge of the market and he always give us good advice. He always make it very clear for us and we are never disappointed. They tend to keep us informed on a daily basis throughout the process - it always make it feel quite easy. We have just switched from one lender to another one, and Kye has been our key contact for this and he has done a great job, as usual. We always value his opinion and his knowledge. Thank you”

“I was struggling to get a mortgage with my bank (Halifax) due to my outgoings (loans and credit cards), I was a member of Experian and have no adverse credit with a good payment history, i decided to contact London & Country to see what they can offee me. I must say i found them totally professional, and they kept me totally updated throughout the whole process, I think in a matter of less than a fortnight i had the offer. I would totally recommend these guys and girls, for their total dedication.”

“Sam at London and County could not have been more helpful - my situation was not completely straight forward but he helped sort it out and for me to get the best deal. He was instrumental liaising with the mortgage provider, making things a lot easier than if I had tried to do all the research and go direct.”
