“The tradesman work was exemplary and he was a really great guy. I would have no hesitation recommending this person to fix you locks. but there needed to be better communication with LockRite themselves”

“Was disappointed when I found out total price of job after it was completed. Customers should be advised TOTAL after Vat+ Labour charge at time of quote ...so theres no surprises Not quoted a price thats minus all that . I would not of gone ahead with lockrite had I known.”

“Arrived on time, so there was no hanging around. Did a very good job of changing the front door lock, and also recommended how we could protect the french patio doors. There isn't many professional people like that who take pride in their work, and help protect your house. This service was much appreciated. Thank you.”

“As a retired worker aged 74 i was shocked at the cost of £82 for 2 mins work. Your operative was polite and good at his job,but exssesive in his charges.for labour only.”

Hi Mac, I have been looking back over older reviews and noticed yours had not been acknowledged here, for that I do apologise. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience here, feedback such as yours is always valued. We are pleased to hear that you found our locksmith polite and good at his job, however concerned to hear you thought the cost was more than you were comfortable with. I do apologise that on this occasion you did not anticipate the potential final cost of the service and that we apparently failed to have made this clear to you. This is not how we strive to operate at Lockrite. You should have been advised of the labour rate when you first called in, prior to us sending out a Locksmith to help you. Furthermore when the Locksmith was there we strive to always provide customers with an estimate and wait for approval before starting any work. We also aim to ensure customers are fully aware there is VAT and any materials used, to be added to the hourly rates when the final bill is calculated so there are no nasty shocks. As it sounds as though this was not your experience please still feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team on 0800 0612 677 with your concerns or if you would like to discuss this further. “Just by chance I saw the guy standing by his van, within 10 mins I've got a spare key done. Very reasonable price and good customer service. The only thing stopped me from giving this a 'very good' is until I try the new key....not sure if it works (hopefully it should be identical to the original!!). Thank you.”
