Hi Debra, thanks for sharing how happy with Paul's work you were, it's great to know this. We are concerned to hear that the price was more than expected Debra. You should have been advised of the rates during your initial enquiry and then you should have been provided with an estimate by Paul when he was onsite. He should have waited for your approval before starting any work and advised you during the job if the price was going to change from the estimate due to any unforeseen problems. You should also have been made aware that there is VAT and any materials used to be added to the hourly rates when the bill is calculated. This is all designed to ensure our valued Customers don't have any nasty surprises when the final bill is presented. We apologise if this was not your experience. “Alan came to fix the jammed key. I was happy that he had to replace the lock with an anti-snap one and asked if the rear door could have one, too. He worked very diligently and was polite and courteous, explaining about how the locks work. He adjusted both doors so that they now move and lock easily. I was most impressed with the overall process and end result. The cost was very reasonable, having spoken to others who have had similar work done from other companies.”
