“I wanted the services of a surveyor, after providing some basic information, I received five or six quotes. Based on previous reviews I chose to enter "0000" as my telephone number which is allowable under their terms and conditions. I reviewed each of the companies and the services they provided. Telephoned my preferred choice and had a very good experience booking a survey. I have received emails from each of the other 5/6 surveyors, to which I responded I had selected one of their competitors. So far so good. Now I just need to see how good/reliable the surveyor I have chosen is. Local Surveyors Direct did exactly what I wanted efficently and speedily, hence 5 stars”

“I got a good response from companies. However their quotes were low as they quoted for a small property despite me entering the number of bedrooms we have. I contacted 2 of the companies and they had to give a higher but accurate quote afterwards. I don't know if it's the fault of the website or under quoting to get interest at the start.”

“Very poor. They offered surveyors in Bury, Nottingham, Dyserth (Wales) & Suffolk. To value a house in Sheffield??? Not impressed and will not use them again. Perhaps they can blame AI for the mess....”
