Our main business is helping home owners and home buyers make contact with Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Architects, Domestic Energy Assessors, Electricians, Drainage Contractors and other people providing property related services. In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“An ideal way to get access to a shortlist of surveyors from which to select, although quotes/estimates are not necessarily accurate (for non-standard buildings). That does not diminish the value of Local Surveyors Direct though. I would definitely use them again.”

“I received a timely email with a list of electricians in my area, unfortunately, the one I contacted was unaware he was listed on this site and this caused a bit of confusion. He was local and agreed to pop in to have a look at my problem but then called at the last minute to say he was sending someone else and would charge me £45. I cancelled the appointment and asked a relative for a recommendation.”

“I was very pleased with the provided list of local surveyors and solicitors. I would have preferred though to be able to shortlist the ones I was interested in and call them back myself. Instead they all called me at once which, depending on the number of calls, could feel overwhelming. Nonetheless I found exactly what I was looking for, at the best price!!”

“very pleased . had a very quick response and entered into dialogue with some offers. in general all of the quotes were fair and the services offered were clear and the choice was optional. I did make my choice ,not specifically on cost but more on availability and a clear understanding of what's provided”

The Suppliers we have listed on our Website are also not allowed to pass your details on to any other third parties. We do not have any dealings with debt help companies, and we are very concerned to hear that you are now receiving calls from them. “Be warned they will give you a list of surveyors but will also pass on your details to all of those surveyors! This is not made clear enough when filling in the form, and they are definitely working in a GDPR grey area. I've had loads of emails and calls since filling in the form.”
