“A search on Local Surveyors Direct quickly provided me with a list of several local electricians and their e-mails and mobile numbers. This enabled me to e-Mail the four nearest offering them the job (removing an electric cooker and wiring in the new one). I have now arranged to have the work done in three days time Tuesday with Michael Maccabe who replied promptly and gave me a fair price. It’s not Local Surveyors Direct’s fault but it is annoying that the other three electricians haven’t even had the courtesy to reply. There must be a lot of work out there for electricians if they can afford to do that.”

“Got in touch with Local Surveyors Direct and was given a list of capable professionals in the area. Went for the one with the best reviews, Martin Lidgey of Lidgeys Property Maintenance, and got an immediate response to my query. Needed an EICR for a property sale, and Martin was on site the next morning as I had requested a "soon as possible" response. All costings were provided up front, he was bang on time of projected arrival on site, and as soon as I had shown him around he got stuck straight in. It soon became clear why Martin had the best reviews. He is 100% professional, incredibly thorough and extremely capable and proficient at his job. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who needs a professional property maintenance operator, and I have already lined Martin up for further jobs in the coming months, as I couldn't rate him more highly.”
