“The NICEIS website offered a good choice of local surveyors and we didn't go for the one first contacted because he wasn't willing to stay within the scope of the work requested and the estimate he had given. The one chosen stuck to the telephone estimate, came at a very few days notice, arrived as arranged,, was very thorough, but also light-footed, non-threatening, and very pleasant to talk to. He forwarded the certificate later on the same day. I had been worried because our builders left the site without issuing an electrical certificate and I wasn't certain how to proceed but the project will now be able to be signed off and thanks to the NICEIS electrician the process was extremely unstressful and unproblematic and he was very pleasant to deal with. Hi Elspeth, we are sorry to hear the information was out of date. We do ask the Surveyors we have listed to try to make sure the estimates they provide are as accurate as possible - but obviously this hasn't happened in this case. We will do our best to make sure the prices are updated.
