“Local building surveyors provided a short list of certified surveyors and quotations from them. Enough were provided to allow some choice, but not so many that you do not know where to start.”

“My review covers appointments only, for this I can only give a poor, due to the appointment being missed by the booking office even though the payment had been taken 12 days before. The vendor had to phone them to find out what was happening, apparently it was a technical hitch, no specific reason was given. I was only informed after a new date had been arranged. Not good enough as the vendor had made specific arrangements to be available at this time on this date.”

“The surveyor behaved in a very improper and unprofessional manner. His actions were inappropriate and his strange demeanor and behaviour made me feel uncomfortable in my own home. I made a formal complaint to Romans on 12th November but as far as I can tell, they have done nothing about it. I would never use this service again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.”

“Useful service. Easy to navigate site. Clear results. Was NOT made clear on site until after my info was submitted that my contact details were shared with surveyor companies....I have been inundated with follow up and sales emails, phone calls and text messages ever since.”

“I had people contact me straight away, but not too sure which were the right ones for me, very strong salls ethic. The one I chose didn't really give me what I was after and did cost quite a bit of money.”

“I contacted a company to arrange for a survey on a bungalow. Unfortunately the vendor withdrew from the sale so the appointment was cancelled. I will certainly use the same surveyors when we find another bungalow.”

“Simple to use. The surveyors contacted me and once instructed the survey was completed quickly and the report e-mailed to me. The report was concise and included photos of any areas of concern to back up the findings in the written report. The surveyor himself was open to questions about the report and answered them openly. The report is being used by the conveyancor to pursue the areas raised which is exactly why the report was commissioned. I thought the cost of the report to be very reasonable for the information contained within it's 37 pages. I would have no hesitation in using the service or the surveyor again.”

“The lady I was on the phone to was very rude and did not want to talk on the phone I got asked to complete the email instead of talk on the phone when I wanted to ask questions. She then sounded like she was fed up whilst talking to me”

“Joe frasier was one who gave a reasonable price but then demanded payement before even attempting to get an appointment confirmed. They were also rude and unpleasant on the phone.. So o went elsewhere”

“Really good full structural building survey - comprehensive and lots of photos. Had to keep chasing the report because the surveyor was very busy with other surveys but the end result was worth the wait. Be mindful of this if you need a speedy result to stress it from the outset. Would definitely recommend.”
