“Tried 2 different surveyors, one never responded, the other asked me a question then heard no more. Very disappointed to say the least. Won't bother using again.”

“Only produced one viable quote from a firm that was booked up so had to do my own search anyway.”

“It took a while for any response and that was after two attempts of logging an enquiry. The estimated cost was well out of range of an actual quote. I question the accuracy of using the online estimations.”

“I used Cosey Homes and would give them no stars, I am in the process of complaining to the Ombsudsman. At the very beginning of the report they stated that the property was occupied and fully furnished, they also said that due to this some areas were not able to be inspected, this was untrue, it was not occupied or furnished. This statement coloured my view of the property even before I had studied the content of the report, as when I visited the house it was empty. I did complain to them and was sent an amended copy of the report. When I approached the estate agent he was upset, he contacted the vendor who also, understandably very upset as this put his character into question.”

“Recommendations based on assumptions without reading the enquirers requests. This leads to irrelevant quotes wasting the time of the Surveyors looking for business and the potential customer. In the end I phoned local estate agents for recommendations with better results.”

“Only 2 options give, one of which was very expensive, the other could not offer a visit for 4 weeks. Found a fully qualified surveyor myself who did it within 2 weeks and was cheaper than either of the 2 you offered, so not particularly impressed overall”

“Following completion of the basic facts I only received 1 or 2 quotes and both of them seemed a little low in price for a full level 3 survey compared to the quotes I obtained for myself. NTB had the courtesy to follow up with some candid comments and a timescale and we exchanged emails so I’m grateful to them for taking the time to do so. However, I went with another company that I’d sourced myself and had consultancy expertise in a specialist area I was looking for. Whilst their quote was significantly higher, I feel more confident they will provide a good quality report within a reasonable timeframe.”
