“Bombarded with calls and emails weeks and weeks after filling in my details, mostly from companies 100s of miles away. Not one local independent surveyor. A complete waste of time”

“Provided details of several surveyors operating in the area I was interested in who quickly provided quotes and in some cases further information about their services and sample reports. I prepared a shortlist for my son who, after asking follow up questions, has now chosen and booked one of these. Prices varied considerably and terms and responsiveness too so it is important to compare these before making a booking.”

“I wanted to find a surveyor for me to contact and was not expecting a barrage of calls and emails as soon as I hit search. While some people may like this, the "hard sell" and pressure has really put me off and I am seeking a surveyor via other means. Sorry.”

“We used this site and found a surveyor whose quote we were happy with almost straight away. The company was Leo Horsfield Surveyors and we have been really impressed with the service we have received. The surveyor was called Sean and he telephoned to give us an interim report prior to sending the written one. Everything has been explained fully and it has not been at all stressful. We would definitely recommend them.”

“Filled out the questionnaire and got 2 responses back very quickly. Both reasonably priced but one was able to carry out a survey sooner than the other one so decision made quickly. Easy to use and saves phoning round all day”

“I received five original estimates for my survey all of which were acceptable and then asked for more detail from all five in the survey. Only one company (Cosey) replied and bumped up the survey price by about a third to cover the extra information and detail I required. I then accepted their quote, but then they have come back and have said that their local surveyor is unable to do the work I require. Would you not have thought that they would have confirmed that he was able to do the work as required BEFORE they upped their estimate? So after a few weeks of dancing around the bed with the companies that responded, I have still not found a company that will do the work I want! Is that my fault or that of the companies recommended by your website?”
