“A1 Professional Service. McLachlan Associates was used. Local company with local knowledge. Provided Homebuyers report within days of makibg appointment. Peter arranged keys to vacant property via agents. He completed assessment with photos, and sent an email copy of report same day. Excellent service, friend expert. Thank you”

“After using the site to find a surveyor, very quickly about 5 quotes were emailed to me. I found one Charnwood Surveyors and instructed them . They were easy to deal with and the report which was a full building report 3 was emailed to me. The level of detail in the report was exceptional. It highlighted urgent problems and others which were not so urgent. Because of this report I decided not to go ahead with the purchase as it could possibly end up expensive due to the problems. I would not hesitate to use them again and Kelon the surveyor was so easy to deal with.”

“The service was friendly, but professional and flexible (when the first appointment had to be rearranged because the estate agent had 'mislaid' the keys!). The very detailed report was received within a couple of days and contained many photos which are extremely useful. I would certainly recommend this service.”

“It was very helpful to have this resource as without it I wouldn’t have known where to start. It helped me understand the different types of survey available (I needed a fairly simple one for probate purposes) and gave me 3-4 surveyors to choose from. I opted for a reasonably priced survey as I didn’t need anything complicated. It was done by FP Surveyors. I had to chase a couple of times and it wasn’t clear that they didn’t operate at weekends. But the final survey was clear and helpful so no complaints on that front. I would use them again.”

“Registered with the only recommended surveyor on the platform. Instructed them, gave card details and booked in appointment for survey. Waited in on day of survey and 10 minutes before due to arrive I had a voicemail saying they don’t survey my postcode! Fantastic service when recommended a surveyor that doesn’t work my area!”

“Quick responses and competitive pricing supported by informative back-up. Only issue was that responses came from regional rather than local organisations. That being said, the only local quote, procured by other means, turned out to be over 20% more expensive. Changed crcumstances meant that no appointment was made. All respondents were notified.”

“The website provided too little info for those not familiar with chartered surveyor services. I needed a red-book valuation but ended up getting quotes for Home Surveys from companies who then told me they didn't do valuations. A bit of a waste of everyone's time.”
