“Great and found one. Bad how you get hounded and called for weeks even when you've had the survey done.”

“It was helpful in quickly finding a list of local surveyors and their quotes for the work. However, within seconds of downloading the list, I was inundated with emails, texts and phone calls from most of the companies on the list - at a time when it was not convenient. I'm happy to receive email quotes but some of the companies send several emails as well as texts and calls and it was too much of a hard sell. That experience could potentially put me off using the service again.”

“Now Chartered Surveyors were fantastic, from start to finish. Friendly and helpful people who arranged the survey (thanks to Annie and Hilary) and a great service received with the actual survey carried out by Jack. I had various follow-up questions to the level 2 survey and asked for advice on a few matters and these were all answered very quickly and to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. They also seem very reasonably priced. Thanks!”

“Almost immediately upon request, the names of some reputable surveyors were emailed to me. I was able to find one that suited all my needs and managed to book a house survey to take place within a short period of time. I would definitely use Local Building Surveyors again if I need a survey for a house purchase.”

“The service provided by the website was excellent and quickly identified a set of surveyors who could do the work I needed. Out of the five identified by the website, four returned the contact and provided quotations. I went ahead with two, both of which did the work I needed very well”

“Nightmare. Within 30 seconds of requesting my quotes I was inundated with calls from prospective firms, and I've been harrassed by them ever since. Decided to avoid all firms recommended by this site as I found that 2 were not RICS registered despite professing to be so.”

“Our surveyor provided a clear and comprehensive report. My only criticism of the report was that all the photos in it were labelled with a number not referenced in the text, and as we had never visited the property it was often difficult to work out what the photo was showing. The surveyor was also easy to access by phone and was able to answer our questions about the report.”

“Unable to help in the area we wanted. Another woul not do level 2 as requested at£525, would only do level 3 at £990. Found one myself will be doin level 2 at £450.”

“Got 5 replies back, which was good. A range of prices which were all cheaper than I'd been quoted locally. However, when I opted for one of them, I got a whole load of delays which resulted in them eventually saying they couldn't do it and refunding my money. So that was about a month wasted. I then picked another one, where the service wasn't great tbh. They promised the report on a specific day but I had to call them 2 days later to ask where it was before they sent it. So not a huge success really.”
