“Identified 3 options in the area I was looking at, all RICS recognised. Portal confirmed contact details and cost estimates for different types of survey. I sent an enquiry to all 3 companies, 2 of which never responded (despite me following up with phone calls). 3rd and selected company very efficient and survey arranged.”

“I received a list of surveyors through Local Building Surveyors. Before I could choose to who I wanted to contact, they had all contacted me. I was annoyed my email address had been passed on. If it was stipulated during the process I didn't notice it.”

“Through this site I managed to contact a qualified surveyor very quickly. He, in turn, carried out the survey speedily - as we specifically requested - thoroughly and professionally. On the basis of my experience I would recommend without reservation.”

“The search was easy to use but only gave us one person - which was not what we wanted as we always look for several quotes. It may be that living in North Wales there are few surveyors ? Anyway we resorted to more traditional sources and Google.”

“Easy to use and straightforward to get an idea of pricing; I got two quotes - with and without valuation. This website itself is fine. As to the subscribed surveyors - that's another story; most reasonably priced messed me about for a week on basis of one email per day response and didn't give me method of payment when I asked twice! Next two didn't respond or follow up, most expensive sent me 5 auto emails in 24 hours only to tell me the auto-quote was probably overpriced, send X Y Z and we'll get you a proper quote - still too expensive. Went with another comparison site and got a surveyor booked the same day who are already in touch with vendor agents.”
