Hi Michael, we are open all feedback good or bad, as a small business it helps us develop and get things right more often. Unfortunately as the pellets are a dry product and are made from 100% alfalfa and no binders, this can make them more fragile and prone to breakage, especially when in transit, so I'm not sure how we can prevent this from happening going forward but we will certainly have a think for a resolution. Please do get in touch with us at info@littlehayco.com if your pets aren't enjoying eating the pellets in their wonky state.

“I don’t think I quite realised how much 10kg of hay was till it arrived but I’m glad I got it. My bunny peachy loves it and got an abundance of fresh hay everyday. If she could write a review she’d definitely give you guys 5* !”

“Brilliant products, delivered quickly and with minimal packaging (a win for the environment too!) I did have to speak with customer service due to a missing item, but this was sent out and delivered within a day or two. The staff are so lovely and friendly and responded to my email within the space of an hour which was brilliant. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely love little hay co. The hay is lush all my bunnies love it (cotswold sweet and Timothy) always so green and fresh. The forage mixes are great too. Customer service is great, through instagram.”

“Still loving the Cotswold Sweet subscription although a star lost for the fact that its was rather short this time round and the box was used up quicker. My rabbits love the long stems to nibble and they were a third of the length. The chopper went a bit too choppy! Photo shows current box of short hay compared to the last box of lovely long stem.”

“Brilliant quality hay - very quick delivery, good communication and so far the piggies have tried the Canadian Timothy, Silky Soft & Cotswold Sweet, with Silky Soft being the all-time favourite! They also love the 5-a-day treat bag and we've got some more exciting new treats for them to try on their way to us!”

“amazing hay,my guinea pigs love all the hay but go mad for the silky soft ,even the more budget friendly hay is great ,100% better than any of the standard shop brought stuff ,wouldn't buy anything else now for my guinea pigs,and if i tried to i think my guinea pigs would disown me,and as well the service and delivery is first class .highly recommend The little Hay co”

“The Little Hay Company has been a game changer in my search for good, nutritious, green hay for my guinea pigs. Guinea pigs need a constant supply of hay for healthy digestion and teeth maintenance and my piggies just adore the fragrant, fresh, green hay that The Little Hay Company supplies. It's really convenient to order online and get delivered to the door. There are some great offers and it's worth signing up to their emails to bag a discount, or learn something new, such as about the different types of hay, or feeding advice for pet owners.”

“My 2 guinea pigs love this hay. It's lovely and fresh and sweet smelling, and nice long stalks. The boxes work out as economical as buying from the post shop, and much less messy than plastic wrapped hay. I also love that the company supports small animal shelters.”

“Hay, hay, hay. With hay being 85% of a bunnies diet, it was so important for me to find a good quality, nice smelling, dust free hay. I’ve brought so many different brands of hay and finding some that meets my expectations is difficult. I’ve brought expensive hay and it was dusty, small strands and once even a mouldy box. Little hay co is by far one of the best companies out there! It’s never been dusty, the strands are always luscious and I’ve never had a bad smelling or looking box!!. The customer service team are real people, not robots or your usual response everyone gets, which I absolutely love. It means the service is personal and issues are ALWAYS handled correctly and quickly. I always adore the varieties of hay, even the ones that come with forage mixed in Highly recommend”
