Mount cutter due to arrive between 26th and 30th October. Still hasn’t arrived and apparently “lost in transit” (as of 3rd November)

Service is good but why do I have to pay £14 delivery every time I use the chop service when I can easily collect from Lions. Why show a map when there's no counter service. All this has happened since Covid and I find it very annoying!!!

I will avoid buying in the future from Lion if possible. They send me damaged moulding and moulding of poor quality that splintered and crumbled when being cut with the morso, obliging me to buy extra moulding from them, which incurred in further delivery charges, and consequently making me have a loss in my business. Even though I had sent them an email with photos, I had no reply and felt totally ignored. Bad experience

Dear Brian, Sorry to hear that your order hasn’t been delivered and we have contacted the carrier to pass on the additional information that you have provided regarding the delivery address. As trade suppliers we use commercial carriers to deliver your goods - most orders are delivered by DX Freight, and the rest via DPD. Both carriers require a signature to confirm the goods are received in good condition. Carriers also assume that your premises are clearly marked with any business name displayed and open from 9.00am – 5.30pm from Monday to Friday. Should you have difficulty with these requirements, you can provide an alternative delivery address in 'My Account' or during the checkout process. It is also important that any contact number given for the delivery address will accept unlisted numbers.

Good afternoon, Thank you for leaving your review. As a trade supplier we do have standardised carriage charges. This carriage charge covers not just delivery but a number of processes in the fulfilment of your order that are invariable regardless of items/size. The delivery charges are laid out clearly in the basket and the email confirmation. For future reference we can point you towards our resellers who offer many items from our range in smaller quantities for delivery by Royal Mail. Thanks again, Regards, Lion Team

Items arrived piecemeal over a number of days. Order was not trackable despite being sent "tracking" links. These links did not work and suspect they never do. I am a hobbyist and items are delivered to my home address so if I want to be sure of receiving goods I have to wait in until they arrive, with no idea when they will turn up.

The item wasn't delivered, sent back to LION with no notification or email to say this had been done. The tracking said it was delivered to a location miles away and so I called to find out where it was to find out it had been returned.

The web form is very confusing . On the SUB25 chop service for Aluminium, both types of cut - square cut and mitre cut say they come as mitre cut. So I ordered the wrong kind of cut. I wanted it mitre cut and it came as square cut. This needs to be rectified on the website as the difference between ordering square vs mitre is not clear at all. Now I have over £200 of aluminium I can’t use.

Good afternoon, Sorry about that. You should have received that by now. I will resend the goods today for you. The carrier network is currently facing issues caused by rocketing volumes combined with shortages of drivers, depot staff and vehicles so things are taking a few days longer but this one left us last Monday! Will get that moulding resent and apologies again for the delay there. The moulding that we ordered and was promised for 2 day delivery was lost, so we had a very unhappy customer with no frame for his wife's birthday.

Once again, you were let down by the delivery company, this has happened before. On the day of delivery there was someone home to receive the parcel. I was informed that no-one was there by the delivery company. The e-mail stated that they would try again the following day but I then received an e-mail to say they couldn't deliver as the driver ran out of time. Yesterday I called Lion, very helpful customer services person. She confirmed that the parcel had been returned to Lion and she put it on an overnight again. As I type this it has not yet arrived (11a.m.). The delivery address is Kidderminster, not a great distance from you. I can't complete the delivery options below as I've not received the order yet. However, my rating below for Lion is based upon my experiences prior to the delivery process.

Good morning Clive. Thank you for your review and apologies for the delivery issues. Replacement goods are showing out today with DPD and should be delivered between 13.30 and 14.30. Not entirely sure what happened with the 2 attempted deliveries last week, driver has taken an image of a door on both occasions? I can email those images over to you? Im a new customer, i have msg to complain. The packing of my frame material was shocking, 50metres of frame mould, not protected, rattling around in a cardboard box, all had burst through the box, one strip warped beyond use. Rubbish, not impressed.

I am very disappointed with the service I have received from Lion. I placed an order with you 3 months ago today on the 15th April and to date I have only received part of my order and that was only a couple of weeks ago. I am still missing all the mouldings that I ordered. This order was placed in good faith and PAID FOR at the time at a cost of over £600.00 and to date my order is incomplete! Although I have made contact with your company on many occasions over this matter including going to the top of the tree and talking to Ms Nicola Harrold, this matter is still not resolved. I feel very let down by your company and am left wondering if my only option is to seek legal advise, considering you have had my money for three months and I still haven't received goods to the value of.

I bought 10 mount board. They were all in a box without any corner protection and all corners were damaged, bended.

The website said the moulding I wanted was in stock but limited supply and I placed the order but after it gave a delivery date I got a message saying was out of stock. No info yet on when will be back in stock so very disappointed.

Where is my order? One full week and counting and charged £14.95 for goods worth less than £100. Was told it would be here today again between 3 and 5. It's 5.20 and no surprise it's still not here.! What a pity such a great company are let down by such a dreadful delivery set-up. I expected so much more. A refund of my delivery charge really doesn't cut it at this stage. It really is hard enough to survive in business with Covid without this. Sort out your couriers Lion!
