“Whilst I have been very pleased with the overall service offer by Lion, there are a couple of areas which take the shine off the experience, which I have mentioned previously, these being. On a recent order, I had a small tube or box of Smarties included either by accident or design that had been clamped between two pieces of foam board and thus damaged them by leaving an impression on the board. I would rather not have them included if this was the intention, also the pack was split so I had Smarties all over the floor when I opened the packing. Secondly, in an order of 8 off frames worth of spacer bars, 1 of them was visibly damaged in a viewable area, but to be fair to you this was replaced FOC immediately, but you need to be aware of such matters from a QC perspective”

“Excellent in all ways but one..... I requested that the despatch of the order be delayed until a specified date as there would be nobody at home to receive it. On return from our travels, the day before the delivery was requested, I opened the door to find the pack of moulding laid in the hall. It was a surprise as I had only received notice of despatch some 7 hours earlier that day when all seemed on course for receipt the following day as requested. I learnt that the delivery had been received through the help of our neighbour who had thankfully noticed the delivery vehicle outside our house and had a key to open the door. That was the second experience of this type in recent times. I cannot say who delivered the package. Note that I requested the delayed delivery using the Chat feature on the website, not as an instruction on the order itself. It was an afterthought.”

“It was very easy to order everything that I needed online and all items were promptly despatched. Everything was securely packaged so arrived in pristine condition. The loveliest finishing touch was a tube of Smarties tucked inside :)”

“Generally everything about Lion is fine . I have recently ordered some canvas stretchers which arrived in a box measuring 20x15 inches ,this cost me £12 for packing and delivery of a item valued at £ 65 ! This bought the total bill to £80 !! A couple of months earlier l had a delivery from Lion at a value of £400+ which cost £12 for packing and delivery which was acceptable .surly a 2 level charge based on value should be considered . Bring back the Lion Bars 😀. Dennis Harper”
