“Although the products are excellent I’m constantly having trouble with the delivery company. Not once have they managed to find my studio (even though a sign is up). Yesterday my delivery was left at the adjoining house and signed for by a ten year old boy...who had no idea what he signed for!”

“Making orders and getting them delivered on time is a straightforward process. If items received in error, replacements and/or refunds are handled efficiently. Accounts administration is also very good. Easy to communicate with by a competent and a helpful team.”

“Ordered Wednesday on 24 hour delivery (Thursday or Friday) ...did not arrive until Monday afternoon. Postage about the same price as the items. Not good enough.”

“I have been using Lion for 20+ years. I have always been well pleased with the products and service . The only negative thing I can mention is that I can not understand why the Colourmount mountboard range is so expensive compared with your competiters. Just saying”

“I order online these days ,its,quick and easy ..and the delivery is always prompt.I had a rare problem with a replacement glass cutting wheel recently so had to ring ..it was sorted without any fuss and the lady on the phone was polite and very easy to talk to. I have been ordering for about 8/9 years now and used to visit the Hayes store before it closed I wish i could think of some criticism as most of us like a good moan..but cant.”

“Generally I am very satisfied with the service. Speed of delivery is excellent. I do have a quibble about my recent order. This included some lengths of moulding, and I had ordered 6 metres of L2451 Arezzo Platinum. What arrived was 3 lengths , amounting to 8.10 metres. Now I know that the policy is to round up to the next whole length, but this was quite a substantial increase. As it happens, 2 lengths amounting to 5.4 metres would have been sufficient for my purpose. I feel that where there is a major discrepancy like this it would be easy to ask the customer if a rounding down, rather than up would be preferable.”
