“I have ordered items many times from Lion, especially the chop service for mouldings which are always cut accurately and always as required. All items are packed securely and arrive in oerfct condition.”

“All good, however I still think service at desk is slow. I ordered on-line last week, just 2 lengths of one moulding and 1 sheet of mount-board. I arrived at approx 1315hrs with one customer in front of me but still had to wait for 20 minutes to get served.”

“There is sometimes variable finish on the face of your mouldings. For example, last year I ordered several lengths of L1853 White Beech. There were several places where the beech laminate had been changed to another sheet, leaving "fingers" of join, which resulted in quite a lot of wastage of (for me) quite an expensive moulding. I suppose I could have rung up and I imagine I would have been invited to return the offending lengths. I would rather not have to wrap up several lengths and go through the rigmarole of returning them, I just had to make do as best as I could, with a bit of wastage. Otherwise I have no complaints, which is why we use Lion each year before our annual exhibition.”

“As always, the staff are friendly and very helpful. My goods arrived the following day and it was good to know, down to the hour when to expect the arrival of the parcel. The goods were well packed and included invoice. Lion is an outstanding company, the catalogue is easy to follow - excellent!”
