“Quality is on the whole pretty decent, though with the lower cost mouldings it definitely pays to check each length carefully; I have received a few pieces which are too badly warped or have been damaged before shipping. Card stock can suffer in transit but tht is the nature of having this kind of item shipped. Customer service is great though, any problem is quickly sorted.”

“You did fine as usual. I haven't give you 5 because you will see that I frame in a small way. My customers go for cheaper frames so I tend to use Minerva. The variety of choice of these frames has reduced considerably over the last couple of years. I mainly use M121 and you recently discontinued gold, ayous and white. You have also discontinued all of the Minera slips leaving no equivalent alternatives. A D Patterson (PATT 28)”

“I would have loved to have selected 'Very Good' as Lion's choice of products is really extensive, and their customer service generally excellent. However, a lack of flexibility around delivery for customers living in the Highlands lets down the whole experience. I anticipate that my current order will arrive seven days after I placed the order. By todays standards, that's disappointing.”

“placed order tues. driver rang wed. morning. we told him we didn't open till 10.00am. he said no problem will deliver tomorrow after 10.00 Thursday pm contacted driver, same one, he said he tried to deliver 8am. we said we told you we didn't open till 10.00. he wasn't interested. said someone would deliver tomorrow, Friday. We rang your office, lady very helpful, she rang your delivery people and asked them to put it on a post 10.00 Friday. we had a £2500 being picked up Sat. and were waiting framers points. We rang Friday pm and was told by your office that it hadn't gone out on the van. Brilliant. Your office then instructed your delivery co. to deliver Sat. That didn't happen either. Parcel has just arrived, battered and bruised, 11.00am Monday. The photographs the drivers are taking when they say they try to deliver are bogus. Why, but why, are you dealing with a company that is so inept, irresponsible and obviously with no regards to your customers. It is much easier for us to order from Wessex, they deliver twice a week. We have preferred in the past to deal with you both for Re-dezine and Howarth Gallery but if this is the service your delivery company provides we will be extremely reluctant to order from you again. I cannot afford to have disappointed customers through no fault of our own and I would image you feel the same. Regards Richard Ellison”

I am only a small customer but when I phoned for some advice about framing canvases the person I spoke to was so helpful and spent time pointing me towards some excellent information sheets on your website.
