I ordered the mount board holder on the website and it arrived promptly ; thank you. Unfortunately one of the welds on the framework was broken and a gasket missing . I’m still waiting for a fix from Lion

The courier DPD failed to delivery of item. They managed to photograph my front door alot, but didn't seemingly knock... Hopefully I will get a refund for undelivered item.

Normally an excellent service, but on this occasion no receipt given or indication of delivery notified. Parcel was left in communal entry and no one actually rang my doorbell. Had to carry heavy parcel up three flights, when I eventually discovered it by accident.

Good morning Margaretann, Thank you for your review and our apologies for the issues with your latest delivery. We will enquire with the Glasgow depot as to why they have 1. Not rang the bell and 2. Not tried to contact yourself before leaving the goods. The carriers aren’t required to obtain a signature upon delivery at the moment due to the pandemic and this is causing occasional problems. Delivery was longer than usual. Package was damaged and left outside. Courier tracker stated delivery but was then delayed a day. Fortunately, mount board was not damaged. I appreciate that this is a courier issue and not Lion directly.

Good morning Clive, Sorry about that and thank you for reporting the issues. I know carriers are not requiring signatures at the moment due to covid but that’s no excuse to leave goods outside and open to the elements when not authorised to do so. If you ever receive a delivery with damage items you can let us know via phone, email, webchat or WhatsApp and we will look to resolve ASAP. Thanks again, George – Lion team

The product I ordered online appears now to be out of stock, despite receiving the dispatch information. However, Tracy has advised me of the error, so I am waiting for it to come in.

My delivery was an item short. I phoned and spoke with a very helpful Lion rep and was told to email Lion explaining the issue. I have as yet had no response, not even an acknowledgement to say that my email has been received. I do not want to have to keep phoning to find out what is being done but I was expecting a swifter response to my problem. I do not imagine that they receive so many emails that it would take so long to address my complaint.

Delivered to wrong address, fortunately not too far away and the person they were delivered to contacted me so I could go and collect the order.

Good and bad. The pieces I ordered were a good price and come promptly, but the delivery charge was outrageous. It turned out that this was because they'd included two very heavy catalogues that I didn't ask for or want - the catalogues were free, but the postage on them wasn't ! Spoiled an otherwise good experience

We're happy to hear the items you ordered arrived promptly. Our delivery charges are fixed and don’t vary whether or not we include catalogues with the parcel. The packing and delivery charge on orders under £125 reflects the fact that we charge trade prices for our goods. Delivery charges are clearly displayed before the order is confirmed so that customers can factor them in when deciding whether to go ahead. We include a set of catalogues with all orders from new customers as the feedback we get from most is that they are a useful addition to the website in helping navigate our range.

My recent order of foamlite boards arrived in good time but I think very poorly packed. There is no inherent strength in the boards so they need more packing than the manufactures flimsy box - consequently a couple of corners are damaged, not enough for me to complain about but it is the least best packed of any recent parcels to me.

I’m a new customer but maybe you don’t want me. 2 orders placed so far first turned up late and damaged with sizes not asked for. Second arrived on time but again sizes wrong. Customer service was not very helpful. Didn’t try to resolve issues just offered to collect it all to go back. A manager called me a was helpful. Don’t assume new customers know your policy when sales don’t explain it

I ordered mountboard for our club. Some board was slightly damaged on receipt. One board was supplied incorrectly. Some board was substituted from what was ordered. Also charged carriage when I thought the delivery was free. All reported to Lion, but no response

The product is fine and the delivery prompt but the delivery address incorrect. It arrived at my previous house despite me giving my new address when placing the order over the phone. Fortunately the courier phoned me during the evening to ascertain my new address.

Usually Lion is brilliant. On this occasion we were not happy : two large packets of mountboard were left outside in the alley beside the house. Fortunately we got home before the rain got through the cardboard. Our neighbours would have taken it in had they been asked.

I ordered a picture hanging pack. The man I placed the order with omitted to send the wall fittings, even though I asked how I would affix the rails to the wall. He implied that I could put screws directly through the metal wall fitting. Thus the pack was useless, which I needed by June 10th, and the wall fittings came yesterday which was too late. I'm pretty angry!

Arrived impressively quickly....BUT.......Driver delivered only two pieces out of three, I had to ask him to check his van for the final piece........AND.....the roll of acetate was completely open at one end ( I have taken a photo in case damage is identified )....AND The cover wrapping to All three items was covered in a grimy dust, which I can only attribute to your warehouse or the delivery van. This is very unusual for Lion.

As usual, one of the packages of mountboard was damaged on delivery. Unlike previous incidents this had not been caused in transit because the adjacent boards in the cardboard parcel were undamaged. The Value ice white sheets had been dropped on one corner whilst in the white plastic sheeting and they had all suffered identical damage. I appreciate that these large sheets are unwieldy, but whoever dropped them must have been aware that they had been damaged.
