“Good range. Prices sometimes a bit high. Good people with knowledge and helpful attitude. Trade counter somrtimes seems understaffed. But all generally good. The biggest frustration is the rules about what can be delivered and what has to be collected: sometimes I just need one or two mountboards but even if my order is by my standards quite large I still have to collect.”

With mount boards, you can mix any of the colours and with backing boards they just need to be despatch quantities. “Personal service good. Mouldings are not always wrapped so I worry they might scratch on journey home. Recent problem with small marks on mountboard which has caused some wastage - of time as well! Prices pretty good. Main problem is having to order 10 sheets of mountboard to get a delivery but am looking at other suppliers for my mountbiard to save a 3 hour return trip to Birmingham!”

“Everything arrived as ordered although on two separate days for the same delivery which wasn’t ideal . I contacted lion and they promptly sorted it out so all good. This seems to be a growing issue with delivery companies which is annoying when you pay for next day delivery .”

“Initial query by Lion asking for payment by card - but it was for a credit account on PO/Invoice basis. Goods arrived quickly and are as advertised and no further queries/issues re payment since my response to them .... yet (would use again but hope they get it right next time from the on line order that included PO info and credit account info)”

“Didn't offer me a choice of delivery. Its 'next day' or nothing. Charged me £9.95 delivery for a £75 order that weighed less than half a kilo and measured just 24cm x 17cm x 16cm. I wasn't in a hurry and didn't need or want 'next day delivery. Ended up paying at least £5.00 too much.”

Hiya, Thank you for your feedback. We simplified our delivery options just over a month ago to only have one set fee for carriage which is £9.95. We aim to despatch all orders placed before noon on an overnight service. If you place your order online and it is £125+ (before VAT) delivery is automatically free! Best regards, Lion.
