“Cannot stand the bubble wrap. Really puts me off. Very very bad for the environment so you should hang your heads in shame. No other supplier uses it. Just you.”

Thanks for your review. Please be assured we are conscious of the need to reduce packaging waste, but it’s a balance, since inadequate protection leads to more damage in transit; in all our trials to date of alternatives to bubble wrap, rates of impact damage became very high and generated a lot of replacement deliveries, which carry with them their own environmental impact. We do keep trying experimenting with different solutions and have recently switched to a minimum 30% recycled plastic bubble wrap, which some customers re-use to wrap finished work. We also have an ongoing programme to minimise the number of stock products we pack in plastic bags and use a ‘zero to landfill’ waste contractor - our waste is sorted into flexible plastic, single use plastic, metal, cardboard / paper, wood and food waste ready to be recycled or composted. Anything leftover is sent to generate green energy.

“I usually phone my orders through and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The goods arrive very quickly and are always well packaged. The moulding is of good quality and should there ever be a wonky length (which rarely) they are very quick to resolve the problem. I fully recommend both the products and the professional manner of this company. The website is very easy to use and to see what stock levels are like. They also do some slightly unusual mouldings and so are really useful for doing the more elaborate or quirky pieces that require just that something a little bit more special!”

“Very very quick - thank you but moulding quality is a bit poor. Almost every length on this latest order is warped. Fortunately most of it is for smaller pictures so I can work around it but a couple of them I probably can’t. Looks like they have probably come to you from your supplier like this but either way as straightness is a requisite for a frame better QC is needed”
