“In my opinion, Martin & Margaret built up a superbly run business, beginning in the early years of being in the trade myself. Almost always very happy with our association, & along with another company I dealt with, always in FATG surveys put them first for service. Apart from a few minor imperfections, particularly I think due to transition of management, I am still delighted to recommend Lion PFS to everyone appropriate. Including framing neighbours here in France where I now live & work (on a limited basis). I believe Martin & Margaret now also spend time in France, & are welcome to visit, along with anyone else from Lion ! (see Gall06)”

“Always a very good service, occasionally i will experience an issue with chop moulding but it is always resolved quickly and i'm always contacted to confirm when my order is ready for collection. John in the chop department is excellent in terms of his service and customer approach, and I have always been welcomed by Allan and Hubert (when he was at the counter) when i have collected from the counter. Delivery service is excellent too. Stock control seems good as I rarely have a situation where something is not available for my orders.”

“I had ordered 3462 - RabbetSpace hex drill bit but in the bag was a 3463, driver pack, it had the wrong label on the bag, so not the fault of the picker. I rang Tracey and said I really needed the drill, Tracey apologised and got it sent out to me for the next day. Many thanks for the swift response. Adam The Picture Framer”

“Quality of wooden mouldings. Often arrive damaged chipped with paint scratched off and sometimes with poor repairs. When I have the time I will find another supplier. The only reason i'm still using you is that Stephen Flanagan is extremely helpful. Martyn Barrow Castle, Pontefract.”

“This is the only UK company I could find selling HangZ hooks so that was a good start. Add to that the very quick delivery and robust packaging and you've got an excellent company to d/w as well as a good product. There was also a little surprise in the box which was a nice touch!”

“I have just started a Company this month and Lion have such a range of stock that they should be able to cover all my framing requirements, plus the option of a next day delivery is very useful. The rating would have been a maximum, but two of the larger items on my first order arrived damaged. However this was satisfactorily resolved on my next visit.”
