3 outside pir lights with 2 bulbs: backordered the bulbs eventually provided alternative after contacting them

Purchased a light bcs it promised fast delivery. A couple of days later and after my money was taken they informed me the light would be delayed for more than a month. Whilst waiting the price of the light was reduced but I still had to pay the full price. What a con.

No invoice was sent following my purchase. When I 'phoned to chase up, the person I spoke to in accounts took about 5 minutes to find the invoice on her system (although I had given her the order number), then told me the invoice 'would have been sent automatically following despatch'. I reminded her that the reason I was 'phoning was because I hadn't received the invoice. I was then promised I would receive a copy invoice in 5 minutes or so. 3 days later, I'm still waiting.

You should have told me that this product was not. Suited to any location within five miles of the sea, it?s very obvious from my address that it was unsuitable for me but I had to open the package to discover this, at which point the electrician was ready to fixit.

I recently received two ceiling light from you, as our dining room was being refurbished we did not hand them until yesterday, one of the lights is perfect but the other one has a very wonky light fitting, when you screw a bulb in you cannot get it to sit level and this is really apparent when the lights are side by side. I would like to return this wonky light fitting but I would like a replacement first please?

A nightmare to fit partly because it was going on a lath and plaster wall, I could only fit the wall bracket vertically on the wall. then I had to alter the hole in the middle of the chrome cover as the bracket was not designed to fit vertically. I thought that was it but no I could not secure the chrome cap to the bracket as the holes in the cap did not line up with the threaded holes in the bracket, I had to remove the bracket put it in a vice and re-shape it. I gave it 2 stars as it is quite good now it is finally on the wall.

Received completed wrong light, light I bought was £28.50 and light they gave me was £28. When I contacted them I told them I am willing to keep this light as it was more hassle than it?s worth but did not offer me any good will gesture or even refund me the difference. I know it was only 50 odd pence but it?s not the point.

Easy to order but payment was delayed because they tried to take it at 6am and my bank was concerned that it wasn't genuine.I phoned Lighting -direct, had to leave a message but they didn't get back to me.Then they said the order would be cancelled so I had to phone again, all time and money!

The delivery of the lights was spot on. I have installed this around my front door. The product is not good at all. Some of the lights have lose plastic balls attached to them. I had to put in some packing to keep hold of that plastic ball. The lights are not as bright as I thought they would be. I would not recommend to buy this product.

we have bought a light which we want to return so we can order it again in another colour and order an extra one but have not had a returns number sent back to us.

Product great when it eventually arrived, absolute nightmare with delivery company Lighting-Direct used. Multiple fake delivery attempts and failed deliveries spanning over a week. Good customer service eventually to sort mess out but supplying companies generally need to recognise how delivery companies can trash an otherwise good customer experience.

The item was delivered a day llate which caused us to have to change plans. The e mail said we were not in and a card had been left , neither of which was true. The courier apologised and added he was not surprised The product appears fine

Lights are good, but the delivery service was very poor by DPD. The courier tried to deliver my package up the wrong house then text me to say I wasn?t in! When I collected my parcel 2 days later the box was damaged even though it had fragile marked on it.

Goods arrived on time, but the glass lampshade was broken due to no bubblewrap inside the box...just bubblewrap OUTside the box! Customer services, Gerda was very helpful in getting the returns sorted out. Their policy is not to open the manufacturers' wrappings, so this must happen a lot. The followup DPD website arrangements for returns do not allow for any errors to be made or corrected by the person trying to arrange a return. Gerda saw me through!

I am disappointed to hear your purchase arrived damaged. Our products are fragile by nature and unfortunately, despite our best efforts, periodically damage occurs. Our returns process via our carrier partners, DPD, has received many positive comments for its efficient and user friendly nature so I am sorry to hear you did not find it so. I placed my order for some solar lights mid June. It finally arrived in mid August over 2 months later. If an item is out of stock don?t take my money and keep sending messages saying it will be delayed a few days.
