I had to phone 4times before I was able to speak to someone who could help me. I was also promised call backs which I did not receive. When my order was eventually taken I found the young men’s attitude very patronising..

LifestyleBlinds has an excellent website and can deliver nice-looking products but attention to detail is not their strongest point. Firstly, and with no notification, the work was subcontracted to a company in Scotland. Then there was no email advising that the blinds had been despatched. The order was for three blinds all of which came undersize in width, outside the company’s stated manufacturing tolerance level but fortunately still useable. Of the three bracket sets provided two were OK but one was not with both brackets the same, the drive end. The included bracket screws were not strong enough for hardwood window frames and they should have been pan head rather than flat head with a cone-shaped underside. The winding cords would have been better a bit longer especially so for the blind with the shortest drop going on a high-up window over a worktop. Without the use of bits and pieces from the installation being replaced it would not have been possible for the blinds to be fitted. Feedback given directly to the company has so far produced no response. Update two weeks on. The feedback has been re-sent and receipt this time acknowledged. The outcome. Consideration will be given to the ideas put forward but, unfortunately, no answers provided yet to two very straightforward questions asked.

Hi there so sorry about this experience Firstly please message us with your full name so I can investigate further Also have several factories in the UK one of which is in Scotland that manufacture our blinds so we didn't subcontract your order. From what you are saying it looks like there was a mix up with the brackets on one of your blinds which I am so sorry about. This must have been a human error but it must have been very annoying. Again sorry for this experience

So pleased with the replacement slats that I received today. I recently had a new kitchen fitted and originally chose a cream blind. However, wasn't too fussed with the cream and after realising I could buy replacement slats I chose stone grey slats from the vast array of colours that you provide, and they match my kitchen cupboards perfectly! From ordering to delivery took about 10 days so very good service. Thank you so much.

I get lots of auto emails but no answers to my questions. I want to know when blinds will be deluvered, ordered 14 days ago When I call the deaprtment who deals with my enquiry is too busy and always on the phone according to the receptionist. I feel the customer service, or kack of it, is giving me a poor experience.

Disappointed overall. Blind was sent with completely wrong brackets - nothing like the fitting instructions & both brackets were identical which cannot possibly work for a spring-loaded blind. Builder partner was able to cobble together something that would work but not great for anyone without a practical person on hand! The promised 5mm deduction from window recess measurements was not done & blind was made to the exact recess measurements, therefore wouldn't fit properly & had to go on the outside of the recess. Finally the blind is not the same colour as ordered based on the sample - I ordered Origin Lemon & the delivery documents show Splash Amalfi as the colour - it's close but not exactly what I wanted.

Hi Jo I am so sorry about the brackets and I am glad it got sorted with regards to the colour the factory name for Origin Lemon is "splash amalfi" they are one in the same. I am so sorry about any colour variation between the sample and the blind it must have been from a different batch rather than it being the wrong product. Apologies
Prompt free samples to confirm colour and quality of blinds. Blinds produced and shipped quicker than originally stated on order. Fit perfectly and look great.

Nightmare. My order wasn't standard so I called as soon as I placed it to check that they were able to manufacture what I needed, I was assured there would be no problem. My order arrived, the blinds were lovely but not what I requested however the issue could be easily remedied with more chain. I contacted them and they said they'd sort it. I was happy with the service from Jake so placed a second order for more blinds, including blinds for my elderly mother. The second set arrived, all looking beautiful however one set was sewn instead of pressed/ welded like all the others. Also, incorrect again. Normally, I wouldn't fuss but the quality of the sewing was shocking so I contacted them and asked for the sewn set to be re-made (pressed/ welded) to match the rest. Unfortunately, I was then told that some of my chosen fabric was not suitable for welding and would come apart over time so needed to be sewn. This now meant that the all my blinds (some hanging in my windows by this point) needed to be re-made. After much back and forth (and the implication that this mess was my own fault for having a non-standard order- even though they assured me they could do it), I asked Jake to refund the section of my order that they acknowledged was faulty and I would go elsewhere as so much had gone wrong. Jake refused to refund unless I returned the faulty blinds which I have done. I have sent photos, proof of collection and still heard nothing on the whereabouts of my refund, despite emailing them. I am now hundreds of pounds out of pocket, struggling to get replacements before Christmas and living in a fishbowl in the meantime. My house now looks like something off the Shameless set and the family can't get changed in their rooms without flashing our 'goods' to the world. I know Christmas is the time for sharing but I'm not sure this is how it is meant to be. If you have standard blind order, I'm sure they're great. If you need something slightly out of the norm or you need money back, I wish you all the luck in the world. Merry Christmas, Kelly The Goldfish

So sorry Kelly we have refunded you for the slats with the sewing you were unhappy with I am so sorry some of our fabrics are welded and some are sewn I am so sorry about this issue as it is not normally an issue but sometimes matching up with an old order which has a different finish you can end up with blinds with different finishes. Sorry again
Really pleased with my made to measure faux white wooden blinds. The 60mm slat size are more like shutter size and look really classy and en trend. Delivered within a week of ordering. Will be using again.

Ordered blinds on 2 separate occasions. Both blinds were delivered on time and as ordered, fitted easily and look great. Had occasion to contact Lifestyle blinds as I had forgotten how to take horizontal blind down to access window frame, they sent me a PDF of the fitting instructions within 1 hour of me contacting them - Superb customer service. Will have no hesitation ordering again or recommending them.
