I had a few niggles at first but the company were amazing at sorting them out. Having it is a life saver for me and really puts my mind at ease being in and out of the house

Having recently had a fall in the garden,, which my wife knew nothing about until I stepped out of the bathroom with blood on my face from a split forehead, we decided to investigate personal alarms. My daughter was very relieved to hear this, and we soon chose Lifeline 24. Very efficient, and simple to install - I had a couple of queries during the process, which the Lifeline 24 office answered. So, within 10 days of the fall we each had a fall detector. The staff were so helpful throughout, and we are recommending it to our friends of similar age an circumstances (78 & 80, and living independently).

I have found LifeLine to be something that reassures me, and all the staff I have spoken to have been helpful and friendly. The equipment set-up was easy, and the instructions were clear and concise.

Arrived next day. Clear instructions as to how to activate and check that it is working. The people in the calls centre are friendly and both my parents find the alarms easy to wear.

Purchased this for my Mum. The online ordering and setup was very easy. Order placed late on Friday afternoon and alarm arrived at 9.30 next day. Quick call to helpline to check system working then another to check pendant and all ready to use. Very lovely staff. Haven’t tried it in an emergency, and hopefully will never have to but my Mum already feels safer.

First sensor didn't work. Second sensor didn't work. No follow up to check. Chased up and 3rd sensor promised. Nothing received & no follow up several days later.

The initial call was handled well and the advisor provided excellent clear advice on how the system functioned. Having consulted with my mum, about the options available we selected Lifeline 24, called up (no internet) and started to order everything as we were told we could do it over the phone. salesperson seems rather put out when I did not wish to do a 12-month contract and when I wished to pay by credit card; then advised needed a PC to fill in quite a lot of contact and contract information (which having read are quite onerous). Having done the above, the unit was delivered to the billing address rather than the user address, so this caused a couple of days delay. Took the unit to my mum who sadly deteriorated and is now in an end of life palliative care bed; so contacted Lifeline 24 as the unit has not even been opened and was advised that it can be returned with an admin fee of £35, which was not explained at all well when I called, it was told it was a setup fee for making the unit work after it was received and operational. The returns label was received quickly and the unit returned; now waiting to see what is returned to the credit card. No doubt the service would have been good had we had been able to avail ourselves of it; but some of the customer relationship attributes from some people could have been better.

Dear Mark, Thank you for getting in touch and for providing us with your feedback. I am sorry to hear that our cancellation policy was not made clearer for you. The setup fee covers all of the work that goes into getting the alarm system ready to be sent out. This includes all of the preprogramming and testing of the system so that when you receive it you simply do the final step of plugging it in. It also covers all admin fees associated with starting up a new account with our Alarm Response Centre. As the work has already been done before the alarm is sent out, the joining fee is nonrefundable. I am sorry to hear this was not made clearer and I will certainly pass on your feedback regarding this. I am pleased that you found your initial sales enquiry to be clear and helpful. I apologise that the alarm was unfortunately sent to the billing address rather than the shipping address. We do provide paper copies of all of our forms as we are mindful that not all of our users will use the internet. Typically, we do provide the Fall Detector system on an annual basis, but due to feedback from our customers, we have recently started providing quarterly plans as well. We do also usually require a Direct Debit is started with our quarterly plans so this may explain the confusion. Thank you for bringing this to our attention as it will allow us to improve our training going forward. Thank you again for leaving your feedback as it is very valuable to us. Not everyone (certainly of my age!!) is au faire with technology therefore more written info would be appreciated otherwise happy.

Generally good but with some weaknesses. I live in a house with a bathroom upstairs. If I press the alarm button upstairs all communications are done from the box which is downstairs. I did try to buy a second box to put upstairs but this was refused. I am aware there is a GPS version but this is twice the price. I think the button could be more deeply recessed to avoid false alarms.
