Paid for an alarm, but due to my mistake I had to cancel the order. Customer Services were very unhelpful and a pain to deal with.

Staff were informative and friendly when making initial inquiries and when I had purchased and we were doing the test runs with my mother it was all made so simple and clear putting my mother at ease with how to use it

It’s easy to use, it’s reassuring to have it but I find the wrist alarm a bit bulky as I have very small wrist, I think I would have been better with the one around the neck.

It was extremely straightforward to set up the box unit and wrist alarm, I tested the unit and was answered immediately, which was extremely reassuring. I was asked to test the wrist band from a greater distance but it didn't respond, this issue was dealt with immediately by Customer Services who were extremely helpful and after testing again I was up and running. Having this alarm makes both myself and my children feel a lot more confident about me living alone. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have so far received about five test and notification calls from Lifeline over a period of about two weeks, which all seems very satisfactory; although it is not clear whether a cellular check by yourselves at about 9 pm last night (23 March) was initially successful in finding my location. Moments later, however, I received a comment that “ location has been sent”. My i-pad refuses to answer further parts of this questionnaire ! Sorry. Filmer Honywood

The unit and the contact centre are good, they are friendly and reassuring. The admin and renewal is not so good. Be aware that the prices do increase annually without any pre warning or notification of what the new prices are. It doesn’t mention this on the website when you order. The terms and conditions are not available on the website. I’ve notified trading standards because it continues to be hidden a year after me first raising it, but could easily be rectified with a bit more transparency.

Love the concept and I purchased the Lifeline Vi alarm with MyAmie Pendant for my elderly mother, which I finally installed and tested last week. What I would say, is that when we went through the initial testing set-up, there were lots of beeps and my mother found it rather confusing and it was difficult for her to delineate between the recorded message and the actual call centre operative and she wasn't really sure when to speak. The other thing is that because the speaker on the Vi Alarm is quite small, she found the sound quite distorted and difficult to understand what was being said.

After an initial "hiccup" no equipment was received from you. I telephoned your helpline number and a very helpful and pleasant lady arranged for the equipment to be sent to us by Royal Mail. It arrived the following day and has subsequently been installed and tested. We are very pleased with the service you are providing. Thank you

Very good service until cancelled 4 months early and they offer no refund. Had to wait for a Robert to phone me back and said my mum was entitled to no refund which was disappointing I should of paid monthly rather than a whole 11 months

I am sorry to hear you have been unhappy with the cancellation policy. When taking out the Annual subscription, the agreement is that we can provide a significantly discounted rate but we do need to take out a year in full in order to be able to provide such a discount. Unfortunately, this means there is no refund for the remaining 3 months. In order for our clients to make the most out of their remaining time, we can offer a free upgrade to a different model or a free transfer of service to a different family member or friend. I can see that you have agreed for the alarm to be temporarily moved to a new address. Thank you for providing us with your review as it will allow us to improve our service in the future.
