We ordered this lifeline as it has features that the one we had from the council did not, For example GPS and falls detection. It gives us peace of mind although we have not had to use it yet.

Hope the alarm will work if my father falls out of bed, a very long document to complete with information about emergency contacts, so you will need lots of details

Disappointed that I wasn't told that the basic system I ordered wouldn't work with my phone system so have to send back and upgrade to different system not using landline vonage is my land-line system so that people know

Dear Angela, Thank you for getting in touch and for leaving us your review. I am sorry to hear that the standard alarm was not suitable for you. However, I can see you have since been in touch with our Technical Support line who have upgraded you to our digital alarm. The analogue systems work with any standard landline, regardless of provider. However, they are not compatible with all digital VOIP lines and as such we have a new model suitable for these lines. I thought the speed of the service was excellent. Rang up and had a very informative chat and purchased the alarm. As promised it arrived the following day. Good instructions and easy to install.

I ordered the LIfeline for my mother co-operating with the hospital care team who were involved in discharging her from hospital. The unit arrived promptly. Very sadly my mother passed away in hospital - we did not even get round to setting the unit up. When I rang to explain what had happened and ask for a refund I was told that a refund not possible and did I know anyone that we could pass the unit on to? It just seemed a very insensitive way to deal with things - I was still in shock following my mother’s passing and didn’t have strength to challenge properly. I realise that there was probably an agreement but it made me angry as my mother was always very careful with her money and would have been very cross. Thankfully the hospital care team were very helpful on our behalf and we have finally received a partial refund excluding an admin fee following request for death certificate and return of unit. It was very sad that my mother passed away and I do feel that it was not entirely handled in a sympathetic way by lifeline.

It was easy to order and the delivery system worked perfectly. Very easy to install with helpful call centre staff. In all I am more confident that my elderly mother is much safer.

My preliminary enquiries were answered fully and clarified what I wanted to know. The alarm arrived the next day after I placed the order and was easy to fit and activate. When I tested it, as suggested, the response was rapid and courteous.

The pendant first ordered could not be made to work.A second one was the same and it was quite stressful with all the phone calls needed. A third different model is now working.All your people that I have spoken to have been very polite, considerate and understanding and a credit to you. I particularly want to bring Katy to your attention as both yesterday and this morning she was very helpful. She spoke clearly and was very patient and kind as she took me through how to use the new pendant

I’m afraid I can’t. I’m still waiting for the young man from your 0800 number to call me back. He said he would in half an hour, but that was yesterday. The first alarm would not function inside the house. Nor would the second. I don’t know if there is any way around this, but we do need the help which we hope you will, in the end, be able to give us. If you’ve got any good ideas, we are here, and waiting, with hope, if not optimism!

Quick and efficient service. Instructions delivered clearly. Voices on telephone easy to understand. Product up and running in 7 days., Due to a recent accident it was felt necessary for me to purchase a personal alarm as I live alone. I hope any future dealings with your company are as satisfactory.

Purchased the model with wristband that automatically register's with your response team if I fall. The phone socket is upstairs so if I fall downstairs, it is unlikely I would be able to speak to you. I am unable to get up without assistance. Not sure if you would use the 3 emergency phone contacts or you would call the emergency services, who would not be able to get in the house. I will contact the Helpline for advice. My daughter has phoned and got it working OK.

Dear Peter, Thank you for getting in touch and for leaving us your review. I am pleased to hear you now have your alarm up and working and have tested to us successfully. From looking into the account, you are correct. With the model you have the alarm comes with your fall detector wristband and a separate base speaker. We will always try to communicate with you over the alarm box to begin with. If this is unsuccessful, we will then call back on your home number or mobile number. If we cannot reach you at all we will assume it is an emergency and call through your emergency contacts. We do also provide alarms with the speaker and microphone included in the pendant. Should you wish to upgrade to this system or require any further information I would recommend calling our friendly Customer Service line on 0800 999 0400. I am very impressed firstly by the excellent service provided by the officc staff who know the product inside out! Th product itself is very good and easy to wear. In addition it is small and easily wearable under my clothes. Hopefully it works as well as it looks! Thank you Lifeline for making my life less fraught with problems.

Excellent and easy to set up. Gives peace of mind knowing that loved one is as safe as possible. Operators are always helpful when running a monthly test. Brilliant service worth every penny!
