Just installed & tested personal alarm for my elderly Mum. Why is there no 24 hour contact number for relatives to contact for advice when there is a malfunction that prevents communication through your device?

Dear Mr Le Coultre, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you weren't able to get through to us. Our customer service team are available 7 days a week from 9:00-17:00 and we have recently extended our weekday opening hours from 8:00-22:00 so as to ensure we are able to provide advice up to 14 hours a day. Our care team, who take emergency alarm calls, are a 24 hour service and are always readily available to provide help and advice in a crisis situation. The fitting up went well and no problem. By an extraordinary coincidence my wife fell in the kitchen and I pressed the alarm, and our daughter was alerted and came quickly. However after about half an hour there was still no response. Our daughter spoke to the operator who suggested calling 999, which she did, and the response was quite quick. A stroke was suspected. Rather disturbing that there was no response for such a long time?

Dear Mr Simonson, Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the incident of the operator not responding to you. This may have been because once the operator had alerted your daughter they had to take another emergency call immediately. In situations like these we would advise activating the alarm again and informing the operator that an ambulance is required. We apologise again for the distress this may have caused but we feel it is important to ensure our operators can take emergency calls as soon as possible. Kind regards, Edmund

Staff are very approachable and helpful. Installation was difficult and we contacted the service many times, each time they were pleasant and helpful

I was very impressed by the courteous way my initial phone call to ask for information about the productwas answered and very happy to receive the equipment within 24 hours. Refreshing to get such good service!

My experience with LIFELINE has been very satisfactory from the first occasion when I contacted them online ; any questions have been answered via the webchat window , the system arrived very punctually within 24 hours and has been easy to set up .All the checks have been carried out helpfully . My only cavil apropos of connections is that it would be very helpful if it could be made clear in the instructions that two mains sockets are required in order for the system and the phone to be plugged in . I fortunately had an adaptor handy to place both plugs into the one adaptor .
