It was very easy to complete the forms online. The equipment came the following day at the allocated time. It was a couple of days before I was able to set it up for my sister. The connections were easy and the help from the set-up team was excellent.

Your advertising on line, implies that the annual cost is £119.00. But with a set up fee of £39.00. The first years payment is £158.00. The second years payment is £154.00. So your annual costs are not £119.00. A little confusing I thought. Apart from that I believe the service is excellent.

Early days yet -so0 have not used it (and hope not to have to!!). When muy son installed ty on Saturday last (25th~), he was very pleased and impressed with the help he was given. Thank you so much.

Very efficient and friendly service in answering questions and getting all the kit to us at the agreed date and time. No complaints there. One caution on DPD delivery however. Delivery man knocked on the door within the agreed hour time-slot but before my mother had made it to the door (not very far and she is not disabled) he had walked away and texted me that he was 'unable to deliver as no-one at home'. I rang mother in a panic and she said she had the parcel as a neighbour was passing. Given that these deliveries are made by definition to older or disabled people this needs to be addressed. I know delivery people are under enormous time pressure, but this is not acceptable. It would have been a massive inconvenience had she not retrieved the parcel as we were travelling from a good two hours away to set it up for her.

I am very glad that my cousin told me about Lifeline and now I feel very safe knowing that if something goes wrong I need only press my button. We know that we are old but still think that we can do what we did 10/15 years ago.

So far I have been impressed with the Lifeline 24 service which I have set up for my independent 93 year old father. When choosing a provider I decided to call and speak to someone in the contact centre rather than just rely on the website and the person I spoke to was professional, helpful and empathetic. Her colleague was similarly courteous and efficient when I called back to arrange and pay for the service and the process was quick, easy and the box of goodies arrived next day, simple to install and my Dad is delighted and reassured - he even had a service/courtesy call the day after installation. He may never need to use it but if he does we both feel assured that he will get the response and support he needs.
