“I have not seen the content of the hampers, as they were gifts, obviously but one thing disappointed me. There was a space to select the day for delivery, but this was ignored, so my three recipients received their Christmas hamper far too early.”

“I cannot comment on the hamper contents, as it was bought as a birthday gift for my mother. When ordering g, I was asked to put a delivery date and selected her birthdays it would arrive on the day. When I spoke to her 5 days before her birthday, it had already been delivered. So much for a birthday surprise.......”

“It was a lovely hamper with a cute appearance. The food products were mostly very high quality. 2/6 items were missing and had been replaced with 3 other items, 2 of which were similar which I suppose was intentional, but no prior warning or acknowledgement was given about this before the hamper arrived so I don't know whether it was just a mistake. Some of the items are clearly better than others e.g. the Godminster cheddar is very fancy and presumably costs more to produce than the pack of two biscuits which was very underwhelming and not something I ordered. The hamper also arrived a few days after the selected delivery date, but at the end of the day I received it for free as a gift from my workplace so I don't mind that much, but I probably wouldn't buy such a thing myself since I don't think it's worth the regular price.”

“although my daughter enjoyed the hamper when it arrived, the shine was taken of it has it was not delivered on her birthday. Why request a delivery date when you cant guarantee delivery. It arrived 4 days after her birthday.”

“I ordered 2 letter box hampers as Christmas gifts and stated date of arrival as 23rd December. One arrived on that date and the other on the 2nd January. Sort of missed Christmas by 9 days. Maybe it was the post office but when I emailed to question it I did bot get a reply.”

“While the contents of our choice of Letter Box Hamper met our expectations, and those of the recipient, the delivery was four days late, which was a significant disappointment. You should be made aware that the Royal Mail has become very unreliable for delivery of packages during the pandemic, and this will certainly be a factor in our future choice of online gifts.”

“Difficult to write a review at this point as it was supposed to be a Christmas present for people in Spain. I asked for it to be delivered just before Christmas but it's already been delivered. Not quite the effect is hoped for to be honest, and I'm slightly concerned the contents won't be fresh enough (cheese for instance). So maybe I should write a review later when the gift is opened, but at the same time, I'm disappointed right now.”

“I ordered the cheese and biscuits hamper on 31 October and asked for delivery for a birthday on 10 November . So I was disappointed when it was dispatched on 9 November and finally arrived on 13 November. But I do realise that there is a global pandemic and that a national lockdown was announced the weekend I placed my order. The recipient was delighted with the contents and their presentation.”

“Contents was lovely but the whole reason we chose this product was the next-day delivery promised. It arrived late, after the event if had been purchased for. Understand that post is delayed, especially during Covid but there should be a warning on the website that the next day delivery is no longer functional.”

“Really like the hamper and how it was presented, and happy with the options available and the ability to mix and match the contents. Unfortunately a low rating as it arrived four days late when I had paid for 1-2 day delivery, and really difficult to get in contact with customer service”

“Excellent product. Sent as a gift and very well received. But, paid for next day delivery and did not arrive for 3 days. Sent 3 emails requesting an update, tracking etc and did not receive a response to any. Delivery may have been a Royal Mail issue, but poor customer service.”

“Ordered one for each of my children & their families; I gather that they were beautifully packaged & that the contents were very good. However, they were very slow in arriving and I received no response to the e-mail I sent to the company asking where they were.”

“Bought a letterbox selection of roses. Delivered on time as ordered. Expensive at half the price with some roses wilted and well on the way to being dried out. They were past their best on arrival and never recovered. The good ones retained their original closed appearance, others just got drier and some wilted. They were thrown out after 4 days.”

“Was not delivered, got a Royal Mail card saying “too big got your letter box” which defeats the object of buying a letter box size gift. Now the recipient is having to head to the sorting office to collect it and if I knew that would happen I would have opted for a present where I got more for my money.”
