“The service was good and nicely packaged however the hamper did not contain what I had ordered.”

“Good service and nicely packaged, although the hamper didn't contain what I had ordered, should have be northern companies and ended up with Scottish shortbread etc.”

“This was a lovely surprise to receive through the post from our friends. I also bought one for my daughter and her boyfriend as a lockdown surprise. I have only rated this 3 stars as it’s a little bit expensive for what is inside”

“The actual hampers were really well received by my friends- they were presents for their birthdays during lockdown. However, on both occasions they arrived late despite paying for 2 day delivery and I did not receive a confirmation email for one of them. For both hampers and problems, I emailed customer service at letterbox hamper and did not receive a reply either time. Great hampers, rubbish customer service. A shame as I would have recommended them wholeheartedly otherwise.”

“I recurved 2 letter box Hampers for my birthday re ently. Although these products were quite nice, and I decided to purchase one for a cousins birthday, I tried to use the discount voucher I received in my hampers on ordering. The code did not work DESPITE advising Letter Box Hampers is emIl. Very disappointing and POOR ustomer care.”

“Lovely hampers but arrived several days late. Requesting a delivery date doesn't seem to work in current situation. I received invalid discount codes in a hamper I received and had no response to several emails/ voicemails and social media messages regarding this which is disappointing.”

“This selection wasn't our elderly Dad's favorite. The meats were too hard & dry for him to chew. Other "meat" choices are much too spicey for him. I guess we need to select something else in the future.”

“This was a gift and ordered on a Saturday for delivery on the follow Tuesday . I had paid extra for their fastest delivery option (next working day) but it didn’t arrive until the following Thursday. The hamper itself was appreciated, if a little late!”

“This is such a good concept, being able to send a present that can fit through the letterbox, avoiding the recipient having to be in or to collect at a later date. The contents were fully appreciated too. However, the main problem we had resulted from adding a date for delivery (the recipient's birthday). Although we ordered well in advance the order was unable to be delivered on the day, or even just before which would have been acceptable. It arrived five days late. It might be better not to offer the option of a fixed delivery date. If we hadn't been asked to put that in, we would have accepted the 3-5 days delivery and the parcel would have been delivered before our son's birthday. Having said all this, we would use Letter Box Hamper again.”

“I sent two hampers one to a friend here in the UK and that was received on time and she was delighted with it. The other one went to Europe and was only received yesterday (30th April) which I was disappointed withers this was for an Anniversary on 23rd April and was ordered on 15th April which if sent tracked should have reached the recipients on time.”

“I was pleased to receive this as a gift for Mother’s Day from my son (James Knight)a nice assortment, but really not worth the price. I have sent an email to your company last Thursday & still not received a reply asking why such a short “best before date” of 30/4/19 on the chocolate bar ?”

“The recipient was very happy with the contents of the box, however she had to pick it up from the post office. She wasn't able to do this until a week or so after her birthday, which sort of defeated the point of me trying to buy a gift that would fit through the letterbox. One of the main reasons I bought this gift for her was so that she wouldn't have to be inconvenienced with a big parcel that needed signing for or collecting. A shame really, as the gift itself is nice but the whole 'letterbox' element was lost.”

“One of the biggest selling points for me that it fits through the letterbox.... and IT DIDN'T FIT!! the contents were lovely and luckily the recipient was in at the time.. but very disappointed that it didn't fit considering the price is quite high because of this major selling point!”

“The products were very good, it did arrive on destination. However, there was no warning prior to payment that the hamper would not arrive on time. I also paid for express shipping for the hamper so that it would arrive on the date required, it did not and the fee was not refunded.”

“I should have read about the dimensions of the samples and box, but I did not. It was much smaller than expected and the sample sizes were too small. I don't necessarily think it was overpriced, as I really do not know the original cost of the samples, but I would have liked for it to have been bigger. It is a gift so I do not have a comment on the flavors of the samples as it has not been opened by the people I gave it to.”
