“I really wanted to love my star labret purchase. I thought it would be worth the extra money as I trusted the 4mm thread would hold the earring better than cheaper designs. Unfortunately this is not the case. I had the earring put in by my piercer very tightly but I had become loose without me knowing and lost within 3 weeks. I still have the gold back piece but it's obviously now useless. An expensive mistake!”

Hi Joanne, Thank you for leaving a review. We are so sorry to hear that you lost your earring within 3 weeks of purchasing it. We understand how disappointing it can be to lose a piece of treasured jewellery. Unfortunately without seeing the full piece in person to undergo our warranty inspection, we would be unable to confirm if it was faulty or not which is why lost earrings are not covered by our 6 month warranty policy. Usually if a stud screws in without a customer or piercer noticing any issues when fitting, it would be likely that it has accidentally snagged on a piece of clothing or hair which will have caused the stud to unscrew and eventually fall out. To prevent this, we would always recommend that our customers check their jewellery regularly to ensure that it is still fitted securely to their piercing. Our 4mm thread lengths on our studs give our customers more time to notice if an earring is loosening than regular body jewellery which usually has 2mm thread lengths. “I don’t really understand why it’s stated as internally threaded posts and has a picture of it when it’s nothing like that at all, it’s externally threaded and did make my piercing bleed when I put it in because of the screwed end. Other than that it is a beautiful piece.”

Hi Nazmin Thank you for your review, I’m glad you think your tiara stud is beautiful. This is one of our externally threaded screw flat back studs. We don’t include a picture of the internally threaded pieces on this product. We are discontinuing the two styles we make with external threads and soon every stud we sell will be internally threaded. “Where do I start?…. Laura Bond is utter perfection! The most beautiful, delicate crafted pieces and my favourite piece went in the sale (actual scream of delight)! Even with all the postage strikes, the team kept us notified of all the information we needed and I was lucky to get my piece super quick. Couldn’t recommend this brand anymore! Now to start saving for more pieces”

“Your jewelry is beautiful! Unfortunately, since it's purchased online, it's hard to know what the real size of the pieces is, earrings in particular. When they arrive and are too small or too big, there is a "no return/exchange policy". I guess earrings just have to be purchased in physical stores in the future.”
