“I had purchased insufficient supplies of wool for a baby blanket I am knitting for my first grandchild and then discovered it was sold out in my local retailers. They phoned numerous other stockists with the same result and then suggested the Laughing Hen website as a last resort. Sure enough you had the wool in stock and organised delivery within a week - efficient and life saving! Many thanks Mary Hand Dublin”

“I love my pattern and although I got worried aout the delivery going missing the folk at Laughing Hens answered my emails and the cotton all arrived safely to here in New Zealand. I did get a couple of balls different from the pattern but they were what had been ordered by clicking on the option of ordering the whole lot. I am sure it will work out, and being a crochet throw, I am sure I can get a bit creative if it doesn't.”

“My order arrived really quickly and I have been delighted with the bamboo circular needles and the quality of the Yorkshire Spinners Yarn. I have never knitted a jumper starting at the neck but the pattern has been clear and easy to follow that was printed in The Croft Shetland Country Collection which I also bought through Laughing Hens. “It was great to discover your site and the range of yarns you offer. I had been using up a bundle of a Noro yarn, now discontinued, I had bought in a sale elsewhere, and realised I did not have enough to finish. On your site I found alternative Noro yarns which could be used with what I had to produce something which looked designed that way. The way you display the colour changes in the yarns is so helpful in visualising what I am going to get and how it will work. This is not always easy with yarns spun like Noro, of which I am a huge fan. When I no longer have a stash to use up, I will be back.”
