“Prompt delivery, but was disappointed in the quality and colour of this yarn. It is much lighter in shade than a true midnight blue. The online colours can always be misleading and the photos make it look darker than it really is.”

Hello, Apologies your are not happy with the colour of the yarn. We do make sure images are always up to date but they can sometimes differ slightly form the image online, we are also only allowed to use images supplied to us from our supplier these can sometimes differ depending on what device you are using. “I haven't used this yet but I have knitted with Drops Alpaca before and it is a beautiful yarn. The green/grey colour is lovely. My order arrived speedily and was well packed. I am looking forward to knitting a cardigan with this yarn.”

“I ordered 5 or 6 balls of various sock yarns recently from Laughing Hens. They stock a lot of variety of sock yarns. I have since knitted socks with Rico Design Sprinkly Stripes in Shade 03. The yarn is nice to knit with. I knit socks using 2x ChiaoGoo 40 cm circular needles, my method of choice. These socks are knitted just to a basic pattern which I adjusted to give me an toe shape which matches my foot. I made a cardboard template of the bottom of my foot which is very useful for lengths etc.”
