“I've made a few purchases at Laughing Hens online over the past year or so as I've picked up crochet (and attempted knitting) again. I appreciate that I can purchase what I'd consider to be less common tools, like long and thin Tunisian crochet hooks and double needles, from brands I trust to make quality (and plastic-free) products. My items are always packaged well and ship safely, and I receive email updates when I expect them. Shipping does take a bit longer, but that's to be expected as I'm ordering from the U.S. and typically opt for the "economical" shipping option—it doesn't bother me, and I'll absolutely shop here again.”

“I'm a longtime knitter, who sat out the last 12 years. I found upon starting with my baby blanket project and my Drops wool my skills had seriously diminished (I'm 82.). At the very beginning, my baby blanket was sprinkled with errors, some of which I had never seen before. I took a break, found some old wool, and practiced some basic stitches repetitively. After about an hour, I felt more confident and began my project in earnest. The wool I was using is very soft, dyed beautifully, and easy to make stitches with. I am using bamboo needles to slow me down a bit, until I'm positive I'm my "old self." The yarn was shipped from England, UK to Georgia, USA so fast, it put UPS and Fed Ex. to shame. The package was very light as the wood was so light, and did I say soft? I'm a little less than half done, and I can attest that the yarn holds the stitches attractively and flat. It just flies through my fingers. I can't wait for my 2nd great-grandson to feel it! I'm sorry I don't have a picture.”
