“My daughter is an engineer on a ship; at sea for 4 months at a time. Gifts to her cannot be consumable or able to be weaponised. I can't send her things that she has no use for on a ship, or that she will only have to lug home again. The perfect gift is wool, and the fabulous, unusual yarns that I can find at Laughing Hens delight her every time. I may not knit, but I get an awful lot of pleasure from your wools!”

“I bought a addi knitting machine for my wife for Christmas. I submitted the order two days before Christmas and I live in America so I knew I would be in trouble for a little while. It took two weeks to get here with my wife pestering me the whole time about what I got for her. But since I ordered it direct she wasn't able to snoop to find out what it was, and all the while I told her it was some sort of appliance or vacuum cleaner or something like that. I really got her going. When she got it she was thrilled, but she grilled me pretty good about how much it cost and that I better not have spent 300 dollars on it. When she found out that I got a good deal, she was all happy about it. The whole transaction was great. Thanks Laughing Hens.”

“I've been using Laughing Hens for a few years now and am very pleased with my patterns and yarns. The ordering process on the website is very easy to use, particularly as the calculations for quantities of yarn required, needles etc. have already been worked out for each project. “Unfortunately i have not received yet what i ordered from Laughing Hens. Probably not your fault but certainly BREXIT's! Had to go to the post office and pay exorbitant import duty and it is still in the post. I suppose larger businesses can afford to streamline their exports so the customers are not inconvenienced .”

“I love the extra long double pointed needles I buy here. I got the smaller sizes for working gansey's and fairisle. Addi needles are really lovely to use, nice surface, and stronger than some other brands. Good tips on them. Came securely packaged and very quickly. Also recommend their stitch markers which are significantly cheaper than the high street. Top marks.”
