I was delighted to find a lighting retailer that appeared to supply lights made more locally than China in metal not plastic. I think you should highlight your environmental impact. 5*****!

After waiting 11 days for these items to be delivered, I was not impressed to find that at least one of them had been 'out of its box' previously. This item arrived with no fixing screws or plugs, and the cable had been disconnected from the connection block in the wall mount. I can cope with this, but I will be wary about buying from Lampsy again.

My order arrived several weeks after being placed in line with the projected delivery timescale. However, it was incomplete in that it was missing a key component, the mounting plate for a wall mounted light. Lampsy were highly responsive to the issue, quickly sending out the required item. It’s very difficult/impossible to have things go right all the time so it’s really about how things are dealt with when they don’t. Lampsy were great. Thank you.

Although the price of the bulbs was very well priced I was disappointed in the cost of postage for a relatively light package, plus 6 days after I placed my order I had received no update on delivery date, after contacting Lampsy I did receive a prompt reply and the goods were ordered a few days later. The bulbs and packaging are first class hence the 4 stars.

Hi Audrey, Lightbulbs are very popular at the moment and we’ve been looking to introduce a more cost-effective delivery option for if you’re just buying lightbulbs. We’ve had to temporarily suspend our Royal Mail deliveries because of the industrial action, this means that all small orders are currently being sent by DPD. Kind Regards, Michael

I have trouble separating my enjoyment of the object — and the lamp is perfect for the table, the room, everything — from my satifaction with the service, which was only fast and accurate.

I like the light but quite disappointing it comes with a European plug, particularly at the price point it retails at.

Hi Gavin, Some of our danish-designed products are sourced from Denmark and are manufactured with a European plug. Our supplier fits these products with a permanent, maintenance-free Euro to UK converter. This converter is exactly the same size as a normal UK plug and functions exactly the same. I’ve reported this to our supplier, as it sounds like this wasn’t added to your wall light. The item was much bigger than expected so I returned it by parcelforce on 18 August, delivered on 23 August. It is now 14 September and I have still not been refunded. Getting hold of anyone to discuss this seems to be impossible. I struggled to find a phone number and when I finally did (not on the website) I hung on for ages then had to leave a message. I tried the online chat, no one responds. Very disappointing customer service.

Delivery was ok once I had chased up on the order. It’s frustrating that there is no direct phone number, and the help email was not very responsive. If Lampsy could put the same effort into direct customer service and order updates as they do in seeking reviews it would 5 stars!

The lamp was sent quickly, but the quality compare to other products on the market is poor. Also, if you want to return the product you need to wait a few days for a return label to be sent and pay the postage yourself. Most companies has free of charge return. Don't recommend!

Lampsy's choice of DPD as a delivery partner is probably one of the worst decisions - two weeks since I have order and I still have not received my package. Having taken the day off work to wait at home for the package (for the second time), today at 12 noon DPD send a message through their App to say "I" had requested delivery for Monday...at this point I don't think I will ever get the items and once again have to rearrange the electrician. Great choice on delivery company Lampsy.
