“No information prior to placing the order was provided in regards to the waiting time for the purchased item Poor contact with the customers service Item was ordered to the Uk and came with the European plug, I am unable to use it now, no information about this was given, no converter provided, no contact from costumers service when I asked about the solution I will never buy anything of you again and will warn others too”

“I originally had a problem with my order (PayPal problem), within 30 minutes and a couple of emails my order was sorted and over the moon with the product. Brilliant customer service at a time where that is normally hard to say.”

“Item arrived broken and Lampsy have so far refused to provide a replacement or offer a refund, contravening the Consumer Rights Act 2015. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO RETAILER REPLY When item was ordered in on 15th December 2021 I was advised it was out of stock and would be back in stock within 7-10 working days. This information was false, and the item didn't end up being delivered until late February. I advised the retailer in March that it had been delivered broken with a crucial part for assembly of the product snapped in half with the other half missing. When I requested a repair or replacement formally, as per my Consumer Rights, they refused before eventually offering a £25 refund on an £89 item. The notion that because I 'reported a damaged item more than 3 months after delivery, we can no longer accept it back.' misses the point of their legal obligations as a retailer entirely. Their version of events here also entirely contradicts the version I was provided via email, see below. As per the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am legally entitled to request a repair or replacement for up to 6 months after delivery. I requested this 6 weeks after delivery. It is for the retailer to take up any issues with their courier directly, as they hired them, and it should not affect my rights as a customer. This retailer has a very disappointing grasp on their legal requirements, and I would not recommend anyone use them as a result. I will be taking this further through the appropriate channels.”

Hi Michael, I’m really sorry that you’ve been unsatisfied with our service and that we were unable to refund your order. We’re unable to offer returns without any time limits and as you reported a damaged item more than 3 months after delivery, we can no longer accept it back. I realise this is frustrating, however because of the length of time that has passed, we’re unable to raise this with the courier or make a claim with them for the damage. Best wishes, Michael

“Nice light fitting. Looks great installed. Be warned that the cables for each light are approx 2metres in length - much longer than implied in the photos. This made it difficult to get the lights to the right height. You also don't need very high watt bubs as it gives off quite a lot of light.”

“Website suggested delivery 3-5 working days. After 1 week nothing. They don't answer the phone so chased via email and got a corporate type response stating that they were meeting delivery timscales but then contradicted themselves by saying when they didn't meet them they'd dispatch via next day delivery. Then said I'd receive the item by the end of the week. Another week passed before it was even dispatched. They did at least send it next day.”
