“Having had a number of bad experiences with online accounting packages I had been prevaricating for a while not wanting to make a further mistake. I was on line looking at my options regarding self assessment and started chatting to James from Simple Tax Returns. I explained the situation - within a matter of hours my self assessment tax return was completed and within 10 days they produced my annual accounts. Very efficient and very friendly - would totally recommend.”

“This was my first year of being self employed, and the first time I had the need to complete a Self Assessment Tax return. I had left it really late, and to be honest was in a bit of a panic!!! The staff at Simple Tax Returns were very patient informative and helpful. They told me what documents I needed to prepare, and took all of my details over the phone. The next day, I received e mails as promised including my filed completed return, and details of how to pay HMRC. They made a very daunting process seem very easy for a Self Assessment virgin!!! Will certainly use again...”

“Reasonable price based on price match with lower competitor. I was able to submit the various data in raw format rather than populate a questionnaire and this helped make it easy. However, it took a bit longer than I expected to prepare the return and was quite anxious when the return was only submitted on the day of the deadline - leaving me little time to pay the tax due and avoid interest penalties. There was also an error on the initial return. However, this was quickly resolved when I brought it to the attention of the accountant.”
