“The firm recently helped me get up to date with some outstanding returns. Throughout the team were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The work was carried out promptly and as a result of their advice my tax bill was considerably less than I had expected. All in all, a first class, very professional service at a very reasonable price, and I would highly recommend the firm to anyone.”

“As a freelancer I was looking for a company to complete a basic online tax return, for a competitive fee. Came across simpletaxreturns and found them to be very pleasant and professional. After an initial chat, my tax pack was completed and emailed to me for my approval. My accountant, Penny was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions and was always at hand if I needed any clarification on my document. Overall it was a fast and easy process, which was exactly what I was after.”

“Resolved issue on my Self Assessment Tax Return that was outstanding. Had great difficulty logging onto HMRC site to complete myself. They were able to resolve problem by completing my tax return within 48 hours, even though they said it normally takes seven days. I am very happy with the service so far provided. Can recommend who had the same problem that I endured.”

“First time I had used them they were fantastic made it so easy they were straight on to tax office to find out who i worked for as did lot of agency work in construction got it all sorted no stress and very cheap rates top marks to them”

“I have emailed recently to find out when im likely to receive my tax rebate.ive heard nothing.Also this is the second year in a row that ive used your company and have had a delay in getting my rebate. I know its partly to do with HMRC.But I was assured I would receive it before the 3 weeks,I approved my rebate on the 17th may. Considering the fees have increased im not that impressed so far.My accountant is Josh. Please can someone update me as to what is going on and improve your service to me. Regards Mel Pope”

Hi Mel, I know we've now discussed the delay and you've received your tax rebate. Once again I do apologise on behalf of the whole team that your tax rebate took longer than we'd hoped. Unfortunately once we file a return it is up-to HMRC to determine how long they take to make a repayment. We do everything we can to speed things up and to keep our customers informed. “I signed my self assessment on the 31/03/16. But they didn't lodge it till 19/05/16 it was 19 days late got penalty for it £190. Actually paid them to lodge my self assessment on time but their service is very poor”
