“The jacket is very good quality but it’s a little small so go for the next size up to what you would usually wear. I cannot wear a jumper under it as it’s far too tight.”

“My wife and I called into Lakeland leather Southport today and bought a leather jacket each. I felt I had to write a review because we were so impressed with the service afforded to us from a young lady called Emma who I believe is the shop manager. We weren’t hurriedly or hounded and she spent a lot of time with us choosing the correct jackets for us The quality of the garments are excellent and therefore we would most definitely recommend Emma and her staff at Lakeland Leather to anyone who is looking for a quality product and service. “I purchased a renwick collared leather Jacket, overall happy with it. Good quality soft leather and fast shipping. However there were a few loose threads, which is understandable as the jackets are hand made but I expected it to immaculate be considering the price.”

“Good products nice soft leather, only negative is that in the many ladies coats I have bought from you, they still do not have inside pockets! Do the designers not think that ladies need a secure inside pocket for credit cards etc? Please get them to join the real world.”

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, We shared your suggestion with our designer and here's what she said: "It's a good point! We'll look at the silhouette and cut of our jackets to see which might allow the addition of an inside pocket. It should be achievable, especially on the roomier jackets and leather outerwear styles. “I received my parcel the day after I placed the order. The delivery service was excellent, and the bag's price was good, too. It is a gift for my mum and she loves it. The only problem is that the actual colour of the bag is completely different from the one shown on the website. Don't be misled by the pictures.”

“Jacket is v nice, fits perfect, really pleased....good price too! Would have given 5 stars, but for DPD delivery driver. Instead of putting the box behind bin (as per the job note if delivery when I am out!) , back garden, he just threw it over the fence and took his photo from over/behind the fence.”

“I lived local to the Bowness store and recently bought the tan crossbody Torver handbag in the sale. The quality of the bag is fantastic and it's the perfect size for daily use. It's smart but also casual so will be perfect for any occasion. I love that it says Lakeland Leather in gold on the front. It has a handy outside pocket for a card wallet plus an inside pocket on the front and a zip pocket inside on the back. The adjustable strap is great too and very sturdy. The only slight negative is the opening at the top is quite snug, which would be better if the zip opened wider either side, but it's a minor niggle. I'm looking forward to using this bag a lot and showing it off!”

“I purchased a leather coat for my wifes birthday. I ordered on line and it arrived well wrapped, on time and exactly as the description. Sadly the coat did not fit. I contacted customer services and gotan immediate reply offering support and advice. We returned the coat to a store and were greeted by two members of store staff who could not have helped more. All went well other than someone, who we assume was the manager, adopted a patronising and supercilious attitude towards us. Only her attitude impacted on my not giving Lakeland a five star review. Lakeland are generally excellent in all ways.”

“Online service was excellent with a quick delivery and packaged well. Decided to buy a leather jacket online after a visit to the kendal store but was really put off by the assistant who suggested I came back another time when I had someone with me and I need to take my time. She didn't even suggest that I should try one on. She didn't leave my side to give me a chance to try one when she wasn't hovering over me. Missed sale for her as I had intended to make a purchase. She even suggested I go to the windermere store. Don't ever feel like going back in store in kendal.”

“Like the product but not impressed with your pricing technique I 1st saw the Rhys jacket I purchased for sale at your store November 2022 for £299 then all at once the price went up to £349 so on principle I wouldn’t buy it (obviously just increased price before Xmas sales) then over the next 12 months price went up then came down then came down to a reasonable price so I bought it and when delivered it had a rrp price of £629 don’t know where that price came from but it’s embarrassing”

“Jacket very similar to my old one which is exactly what I wanted. Quality of the leather/sheep skin was good. Fit was as per size. Colour also as per pics. delivery in good time by DPD who are a good choice. Wht not 5 stars? because after spending £550 you did not include any detailed cleaning/upkeep instructions and no Lakeland cleaner. This I had to buy Plus postage costs at £10 a time. You could have got my name on your records correct rather than "" !”
